Canada winning against the USA at Worlds healed something in me. I'm crying tears of joy, expecially after seeing Mack all smiley in the post-game interview.

Like, hell yeah! I have been waiting for this! Team Canada with Mack as Captain 'getting revenge' after the Olympics is the stuff dreams are made of. A 4-0 shutout is better then everything I could have hoped for. AND Mack and Sid both scored goals! Phenomenal all around.

Also thinking about how there’s maybe some little black boy in Canada who watched the game and saw Jet kick ass and represent his country and realized maybe he can belong on the ice in between the posts if that’s what he wants

(Fun but also slightly depressing fact: Jet’s the only black goalie in the NHL right now, and that representation matters so so much 🫶)
