hi guys! i just moved to a new blog. click that link to join the ventures with me xx
Ay freshers!
It's already the 3rd week I am here in Colchester, UK! (whuuutttt???) So there is just so many things I wanted to write, to share, to tell and to record!
Now let me take you to the day we arrived at Colchester.
The first day at UK might not be a good day for me. Clumsy is me is clumsy because I have left my make up bag in the airport's female toilet! Make up bag is like the last thing you want them to lose (or don't want them to even lost from you sight!). The fact that there is so many sentimental values inside it made me really upset and depressed. Yes, I literally cried about it. How can you not cry when a pair of your beloved earrings given by your grandma is lost! My heart was totally cracked when I am trying to accept the fact that I can't get it back. Can you imagine how am I going to continue with my life after that? I keep trying to tell myself, everything happens for a reason. MOVE ON. Get a new freaking make up bag (although I can't replace the exact same thing that I've lost). I felt guilty for losing the earrings. When people give you gifts, they expect you to take a good care of it. Now I just ruined everything, ON THE FIRST FREAKING DAY. So to get my heart at ease, to get myself move on from that bag, I have decided that I will keep some money and get myself a pair of earrings that looks almost the same with the one that has lost. I know, it is irreplaceable because the value is just not the same for things that people give to you and things that you buy for yourselves :( I just want something to remind me about it. Is it even legit?
Enough with my ranting, now talk nature to me! The view here reminds me of home in Malaysia. The roundabouts; Wangsa maju. Factories; Shah alam. I am so in love with the sky here. Not really sure what is it really about but the clouds are just fantastic every time I look at it.
Being the only TWO Malaysian (nani and i) in our department, I tell you it is really nerve wrecking. But alhamdulillah, so far our classes are great and we are doing good, so far. Confident is the most important thing when you come here, even to any other country. Be brave to be one of a kind. You can do things beyond your imagination.
Being here in other people's country, make me feels much more blessed and grateful for what I have back in my country. Don't think I have to explain more on it though. Just appreciate what you have because you never know when you will lose it. Nothing lasts forever.
Here's some autumn eye candy for you!hehe
August happiness
Alhamdulillah for everything. I am trully blessed and thankful to Allah for everything that happened in my life.
Last week was the A-level exam's results and it was a total nerve-wreck! But thanks to Allah, I got a placement in University of Essex, UK. Eventho I didn't managed to get into my firm choice; University of Sheffield, I believe everything happens for a reason and just stay positive about it.
So here's the best part of them all, MY PARENTS' REACTIONS (esp my dad) when I told them I'm going to UK. My dad was really excited and he smiled from ear to ear. Seriously, you can tell from his expression that he was EXTREMELY HAPPY. Same goes to my mom. If only I could take a picture or record that moment! Now every sweats, every seconds I've spent, all energy that I've given all this while are totally worth it. No words can describe my feelings at that time. Just too excited and happy that I am finally a step closer to my dream and I could make my parents proud.
Remember, you never know what awaits you in the future. Just take any opportunities in front of you and make the best of it. (Go hard or go stan!) After you've tried, just leave it to Allah.
In shaa Allah, in my next post (special edition cause love is in the air!) I'm gonna talk about the most important and special people in my life. Remind me pls. Thanks! xx
Moments to remember
There's so many things going on since my last post! I dont know where to start. Ok lemme just start accordingly.
1) On our way back to melaka from kl, my family and i had an accident in our neighbourhood. This incident really made me realized that accidents really could happen ANYWHERE! Who'd expect the driver would fall asleep/sudden shutdown when we were only 5 minutes away from our house? But yea, it happened. So guys, WHENEVER you feel sleepy while driving, stop and take a break. Do not ever think you can control it, cause trust me, YOU CANT CONTROL YOURSELF WHEN YOU'RE SLEEPY.
2) Next is Biro tatanegara camp (BTN) or should we call it Patriot Camp?hehe Honestly i got a lot of input and it really open up my mind about my very own country. I learned that we shouldn't take our country for granted especially we are the generation who will run this country in future. Our children, our next generation, depends on us. We should realize, wake up from our sweet dreams and be very responsible about ourselves, our next generation and of course, our country. Nothing is permanent. Our peace is not permanent. No one could guarantee about that. Who else gonna protect it if its not us? So, broaden your knowledge. Read more facts. Know and understand your rights!
Plus, people should be very careful in passing around information in social media. Nowadays, our people are too dependent on social media to get information. Before you do anything about the information you get, take a moment to do some research about it. Whether it is really a fact or just a speculation. Remember, SUCCESSFUL person don't rely on others to get information. They search it themselves. Search from a reliable source.
Here's a picture of my groupmates for PKPK sessions :)
3) MOST EXCITING PART; SHASHA'S MARRIAGE!!
The first among us to get married. Am really happy for her and gonna miss all those moments in college; eye contacts at cafe, unplanned meet ups and lots more. It was really exciting cause they wanted to keep it secret from anyone else except those who really close to her. After two years, on the last semester, she finally introduced her partner to the whole class. I wont forget everyone's reaction at that time! Great time indeed.
Luckily we managed to reach the destination before the solemnization starts! Ummul was so touched that she cried. It was a very important moment for all of us cause we were nervous as the bride was! Alhamdulillah everything went well and we went to both side's kenduri; kedah and perak.
May the love stays forever <3

My deepest condolences to those who are affected by this incident. Especially passenger's and the crews' family members, may God gives you strength to get through this and DO NOT LOSE HOPE! Have faith. Everything happens for a reason.
Too many heartbreaking news we had. It has been a very though year for us. For Malaysians, for the whole world.
Al-fatihah.
I just finished reading this book and it was amazingly great (Mitch Albom ftw!). I've quoted my favourite parts of the novels;
"Dying? Not the end of everything. What happens on earth is only the beginning."
"No life is a waste. The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone"
"Things are not always what they seem"
"Hatred is a curved blade. The harm we do, we do to ourselves"
Hypophrenia
"Hypophrenia is when someone seem to be sad without any reason"
Couple days back I had this sudden sad feeling and nothing in this world was making any sense to me. And that include my relationships. The fact that the person who I love is going to be so far away from me (we might be in 2 different continent!) made me really sad and I can't even think about it cause I'll be weeping every time. (and I really mean it) (I cried without a solid reason during this period)
Then everything started to make sense and everything was clear to me when I realized it was nothing to be afraid or sad of. Yes, there will be distance between us but as long as there is TRUST, nothing can break us apart. I am not that kind of girl who would cry over a relationship but within that period, I swear there was something wrong about me.
Well, probably it was just me and my hormones cause I was on my "red day" hehehe
Till next time! xx
Ramadhan 2014
Its 4rd day of ramadhan already! Omg how time flies.
Anyway, this year is gonna be the first year I could fast everyday at home because previously I was in boarding school, college and stuff every time when ramadhan comes. So I did not get the chance to sahur and break fast with my family.
Thus, am feelin' so grateful and blessed for still having the chance to live up until today to spend more time with my family <3
But, it might as well be my last ramadhan before I continue my study abroad (insyaAllah) this September. Which also means, I have to prepare sahur and break fast foods on my own. (cooking time) (am gonna need more home-cooked recipes) (zZzZzZz)
May Allah ease everything.
Whatever it is, alhamdulillah for today :)
Me and ice cream.
Nope. Sharing is not caring.
This left me thinking, what is our ultimate goal in life?
Just can't get over this part
Pessimistic to optimistic
Today i had my ial C34 paper and as usual, maths and i am not really at the top notch. Well, we tried working on it since forever.
Anyways i felt really sad and started to overthink. I know overthinking is bad but y’know, sometimes you just cant help it.
I started to think about my total grades for alevels and not going to study in UK and about my future and bla bla bla…
Within that freakin’ process of thinking and imagining the worst, i thought about “TAWAKAL”
"Tawakal" is when we surrender whole fully to Allah after we have tried our best in anything. But first, of course we have to work our asses off for it. Success comes with efforts!
So, wth with all those negative thoughts when i know all way long throughout this journey, Allah is the best planner. He knows what’s best for me. “Kunfayakun” We can plan anything but always remember that we are not the ones that make things happen.
Put yourself back together as the journey hasn’t ended yet! Its a very long way to go.
Just work on the plan and leave the rest to Him. Have faith. Cuz Allah always here with us.
Love is not enough
Lets be real now. Love is not the only thing that will make the relationship stays. Only with love, you cannot fix things that already have been damaged. Like a piece of paper being crumpled. Yes you could still write on it, but it is never the same plain paper as before.
Yes, love is one of the most important things but it cant stand merely alone. The responsibility of taking care of someone else’s heart and the commitment on that responsibility are the things you should be expecting when you’re in a relationship. If you’re not willing to take that responsibility, DO NOT LOVE OTHER PEOPLE cuz you just gonna break your partners’ heart!
But, life is a journey of learning. You can always learn to love someone else. It’s just that, are you ready for it?
If YES: go for the love of your life and appreciate every moment together ❤️ !
If NO: time will fix everything.your love will come to you eventually and by that time, you would be prepared for it. You just, know.
ahaha x)
Exactly! Lol alevel is killing me, literally
[ Allah ] said, “Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. [20:46]
Im curious what the tafseer is of this aya… the story behind it. What happened to the prophet saw and sahaba so allah decided to send them this?
