An acrylic painting of a Costa’s Hummingbird that I painted.  I used iridescent paint on the hummer’s feathers, and when you look at the original painting from different angles the colors pop out.

what kinds of animals do you like taking pictures of? what kinds of birds do you get in your area?

Mostly wild ones, but it depends on the animal or bird.  We get lots of different species of birds here in Colorado.  I’ll have to post a few more pics of the ones I’ve seen.
