training with Valkyries! 🙂 (make sure to point out their mistakes, they can't get too cocky. Control the shadows, they've been acting sus lately)

go through your own set of exercises (it's educational, so that the Valkyries can see the correct form. Take the top off??? So that can see the movement better. No other reasons)

spymaster business (obv it's top secret, so no notes about it 🤐)

debrief with Rhys (even though he's been an ass lately. 🙄)

Just watched Inside Out 2 and…

All I could think about while watching Envy’s big teal eyes and freckles was Gwyn!! 🥹🩵

i can imagine that once gwyn is completely comfortable around az, she likes touching him a lot. it comforts her and he, not so secretly, looooves it. in addition to the cheek squishing, she'd hold his hand, reach up and run her fingers through his hair, brush up against him while passing by and maybe even smack his butt if she's feeling particularly daring that day... which she almost always is, because hello, it's gwyn 🤭

Okay let me just clear this up:

Remember the line from ACOWAR when Elain gave Truth-Teller back to Az? It was said that the dagger was their ‘only bridge of connection’.

What is a mating bond described as? A bridge between souls.

However, in the BC, Azriel’s shadow’s ‘swore they heard some silent music, and Azriel could’ve sworn they sang in answer’, when he was about to see Gwyn.

What is a mating bond also described as? Music between souls.

Thanks for coming to my ted-talk. Let’s put an end to the dumb theory that Elain and Az are mates. Not only is the Truth-Teller scene a large foreshadowing thing, there are interactions all over the books that I might get into later that just foreshadow who Az will end up with.

Do you think a Gwynriel book will have multiple sex scenes or only once toward the end, once the mating bond is acknowledged and they’re in a committed relationship?

I think it's going to be a slow sexual relationship between them. I think Gwyn is getting comfortable with the idea of sex again, in a healthy manner. Because remember, Gwyn was raised in a sex-positive environment. I believe Gwyn said she was "saving herself" for the next year Calanmai to be with a male.

I think it's going to go the pace Gwyn sets for herself. I do think we'll get some spicy scenes (Like Nesta and Cassian's early scene in SF) some hot makeout sessions but I do think we won't be getting a sex scene until at least like 65% of the way into their book!
