She is Jack’s biological daughter, but he has no knowledge of her existence until she’s thirteen. Barbossa(recently cursed) had killed her mother when she was a only a few hours old, after the ship she was on had been seen. He refuses to kill a newborn. Instead, he raises her as his own. She knows he isn’t her biological father, but he is her dad in all ways that matter. Including in what she calls him
Things go well for seven years(except for when three year old Jackie got so sick she might die, and Tia Dalma had to get involved), and Jackie is loved by her father and knows freedom. She is being taught the basics of sword fighting and knows how to shoot. Hector also taught her how to navigate using the stars, read, write, and do simple math(like basic addition/subtraction)
The girl overhears two crew members saying they will never be un-cursed because Captain Barbossa is so focused on raising her and has outright said that he’d choose her life over those coins.
She believes them, and in seven year old logic, thinks he’d be better off if she were to run away. So she steals a pistol and a sword far too big for her small stature, and jumps ship after writing a letter explaining why she left. The girl spends two days drifting before washing up in Port Royal. She, barely able to walk from all of this, crawls out of the sea and manages to hide her weapons before passing out.
The young girl ends up taking a liking to one William Turner, who shows her kindness. He’s essentially an older brother.
He does his best to look out for her, even if she’s pretty much a pirate in the making. Six years in Port Royal, and CotBP happens, but with Jack and Will having a thirteen year old tag along who’s got an ulterior motive.
I will RP Jackie as just about any age from baby to adult, but if Salazar or DMTNT are referenced in any way, she’s in her 30s.
If I am unsure about what age you want to RP her for, I’ll assume around the 13-14 mark.

And for reference, she does leave with Jack after CotBP and becomes his navigator. Canon events pretty much stay the same, but with a teenager(for OG trilogy) helping out who ever she’s loyal to.
Actual events of DMC and AWE pretty much stay the same, but a fourteen year old girl that Jack gives a damn about is included.
DMTNT is the only one I really change for her, mostly because I need an excuse to fix the movie
