WHAT IS HOMEWARD BOUND?

Homeward Bound is a South Park AU set in the Wild West created and illustrated by @snifsnoof with the help of @emersk33

The story follows KYLE BROFLOVSKI, a wealthy runaway with a bounty on hanging over his head runs into STAN MARSH, a farmer living a mundane life by the outskirts of his little mountain town.

Together, they run away trying to rescue Kyle's brother with some chaos thrown along the way.

hello yes we are okay thank you for the concerns!!! we just havent worked on homebound at all for various reasons, im sorry. no hope on that just yet (but if we were to get a sudden urge to continue youll definitely hear from us again!) please dont worry though, we are fine i promise :DD

good question actually! we still have plans for the au and are very much interested in continuing it but unfortunately due to time and, admittedly, motivation issues we havent been able to set that in motion yet so in conclusion; i wouldnt expect anything in the near future, but homeward bound has not been discontinued officially!

Basically any newer viewers who use that option might not read the other parts since they aren't on the thing and they don't realize they're there

also, i need to apologize for the upload schedule again 😭 i started a new art school after summer break ended and its been extremely draining, so making art, let alone for a comic has been very difficult. im trying to start picking this back up since we have so many plans for this that we just dont want to let go to waste! ill catch you rowdy cowboys next update.

while i do like the comic style I think the old style would be better for screen readers, since the dialogue was typed out. also personally it's easier for me to read and take in the drawings ^_^

"freedom suits you well" a little filler comic to make up for. the update schedule. and how i probably wont be able to work on the next part a lot/at all because life so heres a little apology from snif to you!!! this takes place a little after stan first met kyle and are hiding out from the law/any search party that might be looking for them (kyle specifically) -snif

this reminds me, a few months back emile and i were discussing if it would be better for homebound to be formatted like this, comic book style instead of how we've been doing it with singular drawings compiled into one post. we weren’t sure which one to pick so we decided we’d decide definitely once chapter 1 starts!

what do you think? i feel like it’d be easier to branch out onto other social medias if we were to use the comic style and overall its more traditional and looks nice, but its easier to put large amounts of text and dialogue with the old style, and i also struggle with composition of frames and speech bubbles, so we really didn’t have a clue. i’d appreciate any insight/feedback from our beloved readers and see what you guys think, since you will be the ones enjoying it after all :DD

does kyle know horse riding well, how to properly shoot or any other "way of the wild west" kinda skills or will stan teach him that?

stans gonna teach him like most stuff soon-ish im. not sure im sort of freestyling the story here?? we got a plan generally but you know, no pain no gain or whatever you gotta make some shit up on the spot sometimes
