Today's episode of "oh yeah, that's why I don't play games online"

Tried to play Left 4 Dead 2 today for the first time on PC bc I'm trying out co-op games to play with my friend cuz you know fun and friendship etc, and my friend made the server and he didn't realize other ppl could join the game so all of a sudden randos were playing with us and this one guy was being a real shitty teammate at first and not following the objectives, and being generally bad at the game. Then at one point he just comes up to me and hits me with a crowbar out of the blue, and I'm like ok whatever he's kind of a douchebag who sucks at this game and maybe he's mad about it. He continued to be really bad at the game and seemed to be intentionally dying in fire so we couldn't heal him and screaming at us over his distorted mic and we couldn't understand him. Then we all died and respawned in the saferoom and THIS BITCH fuckin runs over and straight up shoots me repeatedly with his pistol.

I mean I know there are trolls who just want to be douches to everyone but the fact that this guy only attacked ME, the only one with a clearly feminine GT, playing the female character, just like brings me tf back to when I had to block dudes on XBox live back in college bc they'd be awful or weird to me in really sexist ways.

So yeah great reminder of how it doesn't actually matter how good I am at games or how much I know bc I'm just gonna get harassed anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
