I hate when people have a passion for being defensive rather than just taking in what someone is saying or asking questions to understand. Once you've gathered the information and still find you dont agree then simply make your point. I use to be the same way now I cant stand people like that.

Yes!
Hate is taught and learned.
What people DON’T talk about is that anti-Blackness is not taught explicitly, but implicitly.
White folks think that cause they’re not teaching their kids to call Black folks the n word, they not racist,
But kids pick up on the fact that mama and daddy’s friends are ALL white, and that they don’t NEVER be over no Black people’s houses, and that mama found some reason to keep them from forming too tight a bond with the Black girl in class.
All that shit adds up in these kids psyches and you got a full blown racist on your hands by the time the kid is 12 years old.
But white folks so basic, they think that since nobody’s said the n-word, then they’re not actively racist.
This video made me really happy
the way I absolutely miss walking everywhere
Yeah death to America as usual
Red lining is also a major factor in this. Corporations develop neighborhoods close enough to the city to insure rich white people can comfortably live there. While poor black people are historically moved further and further away from the city
I reblogged this once and found $999 on the floor.
Reblog the Money Susie and you’ll have money coming your way too 💵💵

How to Feign Your Life is Together
Have a signature accessory, clothing article, make up look, or hair style.
Have a fragrance. Make your hair scents and lotions match your perfume.
It’s okay to dine alone. Bring a book or people watch.
Love your hair. Research the best brands for your hair type and use masks weekly.
Your nails don’t need to be fancy, but keep them maintained.
Stay worldly. Know works of art, artists, designers, films, books, politicians. Spend your lunch break reading the paper or a magazine.
Crying is not a weapon. It’s okay to feel your emotions, but never use them as an excuse to avoid your problems.
Jealousy is boring. Love and appreciate others. If you can’t love them, forget them.
Boost others. Flatter others, but don’t deprecate yourself in the process.
Don’t sulk. Don’t let the whole world know your problems. If you don’t want someone to give their opinion, don’t share your situation.
Your life is between you and the universe. Don’t post your personal matters for others to see.
Don’t emotionally blackmail others. They hurt you? Let them know and then move on. It’s between the two of you and not the world.
Cook dinner. Cook dinner and listen to music, the radio, or a podcast.
Treat yourself to candles and flowers. Be your own cheerleader.
Take naps. Take a cat nap on a Sunday afternoon with the blinds open and the fan on high.
Drink your water, eat your vegetables. Take care of your body.
Never have time to take off your jewelry before bed, but always have time to take off your makeup. Your nighttime skin regime is important.
Mystery is beautiful. You don’t need to reveal much of or about yourself.
Never appear other than as you are. Don’t lie about yourself. Embrace who you are at your core.
Whenever you let go of a belief—something you thought about yourself or others or life—there may be an initial sense of disorientation. Sometimes we might prefer instead to find a new belief to take its place rather than allow the dissonance of ambiguity.
But ultimately, if you are seeking freedom, then at some point every belief will become just another shackle. And replacing one shackle with another simply because you’ve grown used to shackles is the kind of delusion that keeps samsara running.
Notice this pattern and instead of exchanging one set of beliefs with another, find the courage to grow out of it all. It should feel freeing, like becoming more yourself in full dimension and color. And if it feels uncomfortable and even painful sometimes, it means you are getting to the Good Stuff.
As always, listen to the Heart. Don’t lie to yourself and you will never be deceived.
