"Well, you put the two on a special project together… " he sighed, lowering his head close to the phone. "I know, Erin was my fault. For some reason I assumed that our love would be eternal and I did not think about the damages before making that stupid trip. I think… I think deep down I wanted to prove to my dad that I was the captain of that boat now, you know? The captain of the Bernard family." the regional manager tried a smile, but soon gave up, he was alone anyway. "Come on, you’re not a monster, you’re just a… " he looked up, choosing his words. "… a woman with a strong personality and an even stronger accent. And I really want to talk to you, right now, face to face. And yes, It has to be face to face, I have a problem with phones, you can never know if the person is really listening to you or making funny faces on the other side.” Andy paused, waiting for her response.
"So… are you coming? Where are you?"
"I know Andy. But I didn't realize that they… Ya know…" She stopped to listen to him, sighing a little bit. "I get that, Andy. Everyone needs to prove themselves. But you could've done it with Erin. She was looking forward to go along with you, and you just ignored her feelings completely. I would do something, but I think that's really between you and her." A small snort came from her as she heard the comment. "That's what me mum used to say." she paused for a moment. "You would know if I was making funny faces through the phone, Andy, you'd hear me making noises or something. Honestly, just ask Dwight. He'll tell ya all about it."
"'M at a taco place, actually. I don't plan on goin' anywhere… But, I think I got too many. Ya could get out and we could talk where there isn't any coworkers 'round. And ya could a free taco. But, if that's too much for ya, then don't expect me coming."
