For a second Wally just stood there stunned at the kid. Old Man? He was only 24! Oh no. Was his hair greying already? He hastily pulled one lock of vibrant red hair in front of his face just to check and breathed a sigh of relief when it looked just as healthy, shiny and bright as it has always been. His attention returned to the kid…who was not there anymore. “Alright kid. You wanna dance? Let’s dance.” His lightning crackled as he tore off after the other speedster, dodging cars and pedestrians a like as he booked it through the city. It didn’t take him long to catch up and as soon as he found the kid he matched his pace. “You better put your money where you mouth is if you wanna call me an old man. Come on kid. Show me what you got.” Wally winked and cranked it up a notch passing the other easily. Despite the banter Wally was beyond thrilled to find another speedster around and as he ran his joy gave him wings as he ran so fast he might as well have been flying.

Tommy expected the speedster to follow him considering that he knows if someone said that to him it would get under his skin. Although nobody would considering he was visibly young — only eighteen years old after all. He doesn’t really try to hide his identity, only wearing a pair of goggles on his face and nothing else. He swerved around traffic and then that redhead showed up. “It’s accurate, isn’t it? You’re older than me.” They’re playing this game, huh? Tommy doesn’t know how fast he can go, his limit has never been tested but has been recored up to Mach 4. He could very well go faster than that if he tried to, actually scratch that — Tommy KNOWS that he can. He starts pushing himself even further to catch up to the other speedster. He passes him, looking over at him. “Who are you? I’ve never seen you before. I haven’t met another like me before.” His uncle doesn’t count, especially when it comes to this universe. It has been lonely he has to admit.
