Yeah, there was like a random explosion. No one knows what caused it, but it effected a lot of different schools around here. Most people chose to go further away, but my parents thought it would be cool for me to go here. 

I’m really sorry to hear that. Was anyone badly hurt? I can understand everyone being apprehensive about sending everyone back there after it blew up. I knew we were getting some new students from surrounding schools, but I didn’t know the extent of the reason why. I just knew something happened and our school reached out.

Well, I do want to say, as part of our school’s welcoming committee, welcome to Spellbound, and we’re happy to have you.

Interesting. I guess I can understand a bit of anger on their part, but it’s a shame they don’t understand what they’re imposing on. I, unfortunately, haven’t spoken to any of them yet. Should we extend an invitation? To figure them out? Or should we not bother them until school officially starts?

It couldn’t hurt actually. Most seem eager to get to know us, so I’d say let’s go for it. There are several of us already eager for a party. We could make a night of it.

I can’t say it was that bad, but everyone that goes there took it really badly. Is that what happened to your school?

The school spared no expense on this place. It's undeniably the best hotel I've ever stayed at.

Not usually. This is the first year I’ve known them to do this. We just had a rough year last year and they wanted to do something to bring morale up again. It’s nice to meet you, Ben. I’m Valerie. Are you settling in okay?
