same outfits, same hand around assad/armand’s waist, this is crazy (x)
Still sorting out my feelings, have a gif.
Interview with the vampire has consumed me. It's all I talk about, all I think about. I wake up and think about IWTV, I got to sleep and I think about IWTV just to wake up the next day and think about IWTV some more
Thinking abt Claudia's aunt who abused her and yet did not abandon her during the fire and died trying to save her..... Claudia having a terrible fate of continually having parental figures who are detrimental to her because they love her but can't do right by her.. Did her aunt ever tell her she was never going to raise her hand at her again? Did Louis telling her, "you. and me," remind her of her aunt, ever?
Do you ever just sit and think about how beautiful star and Michael’s children would be?
The hair on this child would be so gorgeous. JUST LOOK.
Fun fact: in the Tribe, we actually see their kids (Though this is retconned by the next movie, they werent even mentioned in the next movie-) and uh...I think the good hair skips a generation 😭
Also Star apparently has a sister (this is also retconned-)
When I first discovered there was sequels, my parents put it on a list of movies I’m not allowed to watch. They said one they are not good and 2 they don’t wanna deal with me rant about how not good it is.
I will now be ranting about their kids thought because WHAT IS THAT? How is she blond?
(Side note yes I’m an 18 year old adult and my parents can still ban movies, that’s normal)
Louis de Pointe du Lac & Lestat de Lioncourt (The Vampire Chronicles, 1976-2018)
i’m so glad that iwtv is brave enough to show real queer joy in these times— nobody dies of aids, no queerbaiting, just happy, escapist media about gay people in incestuous relationships with their transmasc mothers, gay people beating up and murdering each other, and the queer joy of finally allowing yourself to be a drug addled rock star haunted by your past
ok other favorite part of trailer. "you lived through french revolution" flash to lestat in paris. "electric lights" flash to him in front of lights. "atomic bomb" stay on lestat as he is about to blow up his whole entire life :) lets get suicidal with it
"This is my reckoning." | The Vampire Lestat Official Trailer
all fall down burn the ground
You've been alive and undead for 265 years. You witnessed the French Revolution, the electric light, the atomic bomb. Why music? Why now? We’re doing a rewrite.
I took a peek at the original casting call. Interesting choice of words here.
Bonus: Marko and Paul both thinking they're David's favorite and both being wrong is special to me.
I am completely convinced that Lestat's wounds fully healed and he just draws the scars on to be dramatic
