Hi, thanks for kind of clearing up the Very Potter rumours a bit. I agree with you when you say you've lost some respect for the fandom. I'd have never been able to get to the Slamaganza but I still wish that the 'News' had, for those who couldn't go, been broken by the Starkids themselves. I hope you had an amazing time.

I don't mind clearing things up at all. I feel bad for the boys because of what became of the announcement, so it's the least I can do to give the information I'm allowed to talk about to the fandom. And I don't even mind answering any questions about the Slamaganza at all because it was a blast!

I noticed your outraged tumblr post and couldn't resist asking you this. Don't you think it was a little naive of them to tell a HUGE SECRET to hundreds of overexcited, estrogen-fueled, approval-seeking girls and expect 100% of them to keep their mouths shut? If they announced it, then they want people to know. There's no way these people are dumb enough to think the info wouldn't spread. Perhaps people are just butthurt because they want to feel special, with ~privileged~ info?

Alright, no. You're very wrong about this. Not trying to be a rude bitch, but Matt made it very clear of what he wanted to happen with this information. And that was for it to stay private. I attended the Slamaganza again tonight, and it was so evident that he was disappointed in the fact that word had spread like wildfire. He even admitted he hadn't anticipated it would do so, so rapidly. And tonight, I talked to Nick about the whole thing, and he agreed. Just know, nothing is confirmed. At. All. Everything is a rumor. So people just need to shut their traps because clearly, talking about it is only making things worse. I'm aware of any details that are actually true and none of them have hit tumblr, so nobody needs to trust the word of a bunch of young fangirls who get their rocks off to making rumors.
