Shout out to the folks on Tumblr talking about The Wolf King. Apparently, it's based on a book series (which I ought to tack down); I stumbled on it while browsing Netflix, remembered the warm reception by the fanbase here, and started watching. As someone obsessed with animal transformation, this is right up my alley! Whoop! I like the animation style, too; the kinda stuttering frame rate reminds me a bit of stop-motion, which I find pretty neat. Haven't finished all the episodes yet, but I'm really enjoying it.

I wanna be a were-lioness for real. Lemme be a lioness, dammit!

(I'm glad there's at least one female were-creature so far, otherwise I'd be thinking only the guys get to shapeshift in this show lol)
