Regarding my Magneto,

He is a fusion of primarily comic and animated universes. Primarily because I fell in love with him due to the X-Men animated series in the '90s. 

I guess, I want to see if this helps my muse out a bit:

He does have movieverse ties (I mean it was the XMFC movie that caused me to create this account but I no longer keep that as his story).

He is at the point of his life where he created had created his first Brotherhood and may ditch them and recreate (but I won't because I have been building up for plots).

If I had Wanda and Pietro, this would be the time he would have learned of his children and would be setting up attacks so he can save them (because I love how dbaggery it is yet still he wanted his children close).

So in short, he's pretty early in his career yet in the middle of it all. He's got his plans and is not so much angry as he wishes to right the wrongs.

I compare him to Malcolm X. IF you are familiar with comic Magneto and Malcolm X you will know that they both used violent means and over time had greatly change and see that their violence will not obtain what they wish. I guess, I just want to have that option of having my Magneto go through that change. (I mean the parallels for mutant rights and the colored rights are far too alike to miss, y'know?)

Yet because I love the relationship between Rogue/Magneto (even the pairing is kinda wrong on all levels) and how he trolls on Scott and all of that lovely stuff in current comics, I fall to maintain the points above which is what is causing my muse to slump greatly.

So like, I don't know where he's at because my constant fluctuations and w-weh. So I guess give me a day or so while I figure out who I want him to be. I will make it official and then reply to all threads.

"Yes, something along those lines." To Magneto, it was strange to consider, let alone be considered someone's best friend other than the naive Charles whom he'd befriended years ago.

Anthea squeaked in surprise when the trash can she was hiding behind levitated off the ground and floated around with the other metal objects and she scrambled to try and find another place for cover. She was stopped short at the deafening clash of all the metal objects being slammed together and Anthea curled herself into a ball in the dirt, her arms covering her head in case something were to come falling down onto it. 

Taking the moment of silence as a perfect time to try and find somewhere to hide again, Anthea crawled as fast as she could beneath a kiosk, crowding herself into the corner as tightly as she could as she covered her mouth with both of her hands to try to muffle her panting whimpers. Her eyes squeezed shut tight at the second booming crash of metal against metal, unaware if it had been Magneto doing the damage or the Nimrod, and she didn’t dare come out from her hiding spot until she was positively assured it was Magneto.

When he saw the machine had ceased moving and everything had indeed gone according to plan. He brushed himself off, taking just a quiet moment to change the smile that was on his face to an expression of concern and relief. Walking at a relatively normal pace, he made his way towards he had last seen the young woman head off to.

"Anthea, everything is fine now. I've taken care of the ruthless machine," he called out. Glancing around to see just where she had taken cover to. "Come, it's time we head back home." After having said that, in the distance sirens had been echoing. The cops were coming based on whatever distress call the carnival goers had made.

"And from the sound of it, we don't have much time before more trouble is to arrive."

“Ah, I see,” Etch replied. “Well, I’ll certainly do my best to provide you with what you wish.” She glanced over as he closed the car doors without even touching them, greatly intrigued. She found herself wondering just how far his powers could extended, and made a mental note to ask him later about it. 

Etch opened the door, and called, “Anyone here? It’s me- I’ve brought someone with me; no one freak out or anything.” Assured now that no one would be careening, armed, around the corner, she brought Grey into the foyer. “I assume you know this part rather well- I can’t imagine anything’s changed too greatly in the last few years. I still can hardly believe it- when I was young, my family rather wealthy but things changed greatly for me in the intervening years, so to see this place every day is just… remarkable. My room’s down that way, and this, as I’m sure you remember, is the library.” She led them into the high-ceilinged room, closing the door quietly behind them. 

“Professor Xavier!” she exclaimed, whirling around as she saw movement in the other corner of the library.

The shapeshifter that had assumed the professor’s form was sitting on a wheelchair and had wheeled towards the sound of the woman’s voice. A smile on his face as he watched her approach with his partner of sorts.

“Etch! How wonderful it is to see you,” he exclaimed and began wheeling towards the two. “Grey, I see that your word is as good as always. It’s so kind of you to join us and I’m happy to see that you are interested in one of my students to join you a mission.”

Turning towards the young woman, his smile grew. “I bet you are excited, hm?”

Grey walked into the foyer besides Etch, taking a look around as if to check if things had changed or become new. The part he had to play now was relatively simple as it only involved him to play the reminiscent man. Wandering into the grand foyer, his eyes wandered until he heard the young woman call out to his 'old friend'.

Turning towards the library, he began moving towards the man in the wheelchair. Smiling at his shapeshifter and was hoping she doesn't pick up anything different from the man's actions.

Welcome, Brother

It was early morning when Star left her room. She hadn’t slept well, which was her norm these days, and the birds were barely awake and chirping, the sun barely hitting the horizon.  It was beautiful, this time of te morning, with the chill of night still clinging, and the pink-stained sky above. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail as she headed out to sit by the pool. It was so quiet, and the soft ripples of the water would be soothing.

As she walked, Star stretched, twisting about to rid her back of the kinks of a bad sleep, stretching her muscles out. She looked up at the gentle splashing that accompanied someone swimming in the pool, but she didn’t stop, sure that both she and whomever was swimming could share the area. She sat not too far from the edge of the pool, cross-legged and resting her hands palm-up on her thighs, settling herself into a comfortable position for meditation.

He was merely practicing a morning routine and had no reason to bother her as of yet. As long as she was not disrupting his exercise and 'wake me up', he had nothing to harass her over until he finished and bothered to find out just whom wished to intrude on his personal affairs.

Swimming his breaststrokes first, he quickly waded across the pool in a swift back and forth motion.

Oh…not…i’ve been…uh…in this…dimension i guess…its uh…a long story…i’ve lived in the attic of a church in Russia until this point…they thought i was the anti-christ when i was born…because well -motions to his horns, tail, slit eyes and claws- so i mean anyone would, but they kept me locked up there until recently…i think they thought they were stopping the apocalypse or something…
