Weโre the type of family that values humility in our way of life.
My disabled partner and I are moving away from all we know to escape predatory rent situations that have left us in debt no matter how hard I work or how many jobs I take. This GoFundMe is theirs in order to help pay the moving expense, specifically the travel trailer we will be purchasing in lieu of a house. We are excited to have the opportunity to have something so nice of our own, because a trailer is nicer than any apartment we have ever been able to afford.
My partner is legally disabled, and I do what I can to work even though I am not fully able myself. I am one of those cases indicative of the fact that their are differently abled folks who arenโt fully disabled but arenโt fully able either. I donโt legally qualify for any subsidy, but still can not produce the labor of a fully able adult. We both are limited in our ability to generate income, although we both do our best to supplement however we can.
