hey everyoneee my name’s sebastian !!! i’m interested in music and film and fashion.
i block freely and will especially do so for zionists, sexists, or supporters of any misogynistic, racist, homophobic, or anti-semitic sentiments.
specific interests under the cut!
music (by scenes/areas): the british invasion (beatles, stones, kinks) laurel canyon/LA stuff (the doors, the byrds, monkees), sasscore, grunge, art-rock and art-pop (pink floyd, xiu xiu, björk)
films: head (1968), fight club (1999), velvet goldmine (1998), eraserhead (1973), the cabinet of dr, caligari (1927)
any interest i’ve got in fashion is generally rooted in the artists i like. specific musicians whose styles i like include courtney love, led zeppelin, jimi hendrix, brian jones, and brainiac. i shop second-hand and vintage! (and in the shirts sections of record stores and local shows, teehee!)
i’m planning on learning/improving on how to sew by hand and crocheting this summer.
warning: i read on the road in december and it’s my whole personality now. oops! i reblog more often than i post, and when i do post, it’s not going to be something totally innovative or neat everrrry time. might even be a little odd!
13 year old kid wants 5 bucks to help buy an amp for his noise rock band. I ask him which Steve Albini project he's inspired by (this is noise rock, there's at least one.) he timidly says "big black." wrong answer squirt. he didn't say "shellac" so I spray him with scalding peanut oil
“I’m not sure if I could ever be faithful to one guy. I could try, but it would be awfully hard. Because there have been so many individuals who have meant so much to me throughout the years, that it’d be awfully hard. If I would have continued to fall in love with guys in bands, I probably wouldn’t be as popular as I am. Even though there are occasionally a few people who think I should be wearing a Scarlet A on my chest or something, there’s always good, good friends. If somebody’s rude, I can just go hang out with somebody else.
There was a heyday of groupies which is gone, and I don’t think will ever be again.” - Connie Hamzy
“The goal is to marry one of them. Of course. I didn’t just go and fuck these guys to fuck them. I was hoping for a relationship, to get some meaning out of it. To see what drew me to them.
I wouldn’t do now what I did then. Because it’s just too dangerous, life-threatening…it’s sad.” - Pamela Des Barres
