Here's a much more flexible diagram of Hogwarts/Ilvermorny house overlap than the rudimentary one I made on iPhone Notes a couple of days ago. My friend Jenn Levine expertly crafted this! It allows for some much-needed flexibility for, say, Ravenclaws in Thunderbird or, Hufflepuffs in Wampus. I fully realize that JKR on Twitter has said there is no correlation between Hogwarts and Ilvermorny houses. I won't argue! But, based on the initial writing, these traits still match up for me closest in this way. I'm thrilled that this idea should look so clean, and really just have my friends to thank. After reading carefully on Pottermore, I composed this sketch comparing Hogwarts Houses to Ilvermorny ones. They might overlay, but on a 45 degree angle.... I think it works! How about you? American, ONLINE AGAIN!

Had to resurrect my old “MuggleNet” email on AOL in order to reset my password (which I had forgotten) on Tumblr before I could change the Tumblr email to my current email. It only took 80 minutes of customer service to carefully ascertain (amid tons of privacy restrictions) just what the hold-up was with the AOL account. It was deleted in 2014 (I had more or less stopped checking it in 2008 once we got Gmail) but could not be restored by me because AOL still had it listed under a “Master Account” which was my dad’s. Eventually the two Mr. Sculls got it done. But man, it wasn’t easy! It was worth it for A) me having access to a Tumblr again without having to create a new account (WOOHOO) and B) my buddy list is still in tact. And I chatted with some people on it.
