SPINELVERSE

This series follows the story of Spinel after Steven moved away and one day decided to visit earth to make new friends. While on earth, she makes friends with the crystal gems, presumably the B team (Bismuth, Lapis Lazuli and Peridot) and a thespian named Jamie. However, she also encounters new enemies who choose to rebel against Era 3 and who long for the good old days in the first era.

Are ya still working on this series and is it gonna be like a comic or something if so where can I read it

I still plan to keep working on this series but as of right now I'm currently dealing with personal irl stuff and no its not gonna be a comic its just gonna be art work and nothing more

As much as I would love to make a comic i don't have the motivation or patience to make comics of anything right now

I'm curious, if Jamie had an associated musical style/instrument, what would it be? (I personally think a jazzy saxophone and clarinet combo would kick butt)

Queen Conch Shell is so beautiful! It's really interesting that she became a mentor for Jamie. I kind of shipped them.

I'd rather you didn't cuz 1. I don't feel comfortable with people shipping my ocs with other characters without my consent and 2. I already have plans to ship Jamie with Kevin

anyways i decided to give Spinel a 4th form inspired by Black Rock Shooter

except less grungy and more cute lol

i recently learned that yellow roses symbolize friendship, happiness and new beginnings and i think that definitely fits Spinel to a T and you know maybe i could draw the other characters with other flowers that matches their symbolism

i redesigned Galena cuz i felt her previous design looked a little too much like CG Pearl and remember my scrapped Black Pearl? i repurposed her hair and the cracks on her body and gave it to Galena i was also thinking of keeping Fire Opal and have her and Galena be in a romantic relationship :3

Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl will be supporting characters

As for Steven he's on a road trip but he does video chat with them sometimes

FINALLY DONE WITH THESE

- i might be a little with the show's style so a drew a bunch of Spinel and Jamie to try and get use to it again. Speaking of which, i would like to remind you all that i no longer ship them and instead have their relationship to just being friends cuz i headcanon Spinel as aroace. As for Jamie I have a different idea for who he should be with but its definitely not any of the gems and i sure as hell dont plan on turning this into a harem   - since the show has been know to make anime references i decided to have Spinelverse make anime references too, starting with Spinel's lil alien companion, Flicky. Her larger form is a direct nod to the witch Charlotte from Madoka Magica (you all know where im gonna go with that lol) - introducing a new gem called Queen Conch Shell, who once worked along side the other three high ranked gems (that being Bloodstone, Spectrolite and Heliodor) but once Era 3 came around they began to have disagreements while Conch Shell was delighted. She tried to reason with them but to no avail and she had no choice but to leave them behind to go to earth. now remember when i once had the idea of Pearl training Jamie? I decided to give that role to Conch Shell cuz i definitely see her as a sword user and a mentor to Jamie, besides i figured Pearl would be rusty with sword training anyways lol - as for the other gems, Fire Opal and Galena to be exact, i'm putting them to the side in case if i ever find an idea for them in the story
