I’ve been so sad since it was announced that Single Parents was cancelled. I kind of wish they would just do one more episode if that were even possible, just to get Douglas & Poppy and Will & Angie together. Just so we won’t have this completely unresolved ending for basically everyone. And all the kids would be there, not off at space camp. And they would have one last scene as the beautiful found family they have become, with promise of a beautiful future to come.

It's pretty telling that Angie wanted to run away when she didn't know if Will felt the same.

After she watched the slideshow he made, she had hope, she wasn't so eager to run, she was lingering, wanting him to say something, and she was clearly disappointed that he didn't.

I think she would have made a different choice if Derek and Will didn't take it out of her hands. :(

side note but I love how they handled the love triangle between Will x Angie x Derek. it would have been so easy to do the normal two men fighting over the woman they love. and we know Will and Derek pretty much hate each other’s guts. but the fact that Derek thought that Will was doing something nice for Angie and him ( and Graham ) and hugged him like?? and while Will didn’t return the hug, he accepted it and resigned himself not to confess his feelings??? that’s a huge step up for modern media.
