"I-it’s fine-! S-shadow is usually oot like dis anyway. H-he’ll be back by tonight!"
"If you insist, sweetie... still, it's a bit rude to leave you hung high and dry like this. I'd be just about ready to give him a peace of my mind if need be!"
I ain't afraid of no ghost!
"Well, maybe we can change that~!"
The human boy rubbed the back of his neck, sighing nervously. “…ah tend tae no sleep great when ah don’t hiv ma mate wae me. Dumb, ah know.”
Ohhh. Oh, oh, oh dear. Hadn't expected that can of worms. "Ahh... oh no, dear, that's not dumb at all! It's rather endearing, I'd say. I've seen such things quite a lot, I'm dreadfully sorry for drudging it out..."
"…You aren’t very bright, are you?
Think. Robots are made to make life easier in the previous sense. But in my world… they are used as Slaves, Soldiers. They do not have citizenship like your universe does… They are made to serve my every whim.”
"Well, I never!"
"You're already aware I know nothing of the laws of robotics, what point is there to rub it in? Unless I was mistaken, it was your offer to let me see the process in the first place! Of course, why they have to be slaves completely eludes me. That's a very human concept, you know."
You up to doing an art request for me?
"I'm... afraid I'm not much of an artist, but sure?"
spiritedgiggles has found the Swordsman
Will, being in a state of unconsciousness seemed to find himself in a mansion of some sorts, though he looked at his body, it was more transparent than ever, was he dead? No that wasn’t possible, but he hovered around before coming to a conclusion, “Must be one of those outer body experiences”
It wasn't often--i.e., never--that other ghosts made their way to her home. For as far back as she could remember, Gwen had lived there all her after life, and her two friends were the only other additions since that time. Other ghosts normally didn't come around these parts, so sensing a new spectral presence in her foyer was a bit of a surprise. From the top floor, Gwen called out. "Helloooooo?"

"Where did I end up now?"
Silver looked at his surroundings with a huff. He could have sworn that he was going to the supermarket. How in the world did he end up in an old house?
"At least it’s warm in here. I wonder who started this."
The young hedgehog gave a small sigh, sitting on the carpeting in front of a warm fireplace.
Oooh, now what was this? Someone had come and lost their way in her home again. Another hedgehog, by the looks of things, but Gwen wasn't complaining in the least. It had been so long since she'd tried to scare someone!
Her fingers clutched her camaera tightly, and the ghost moved from painting to painting, trying to sneak up onto her new guest without him seeing. Still, it was hard not to let out a few giggles here and there.
"Ehehehe...~"
"Roboticization is an excruciatingly painful process in which a living being is turned into a cold, heartless machine. Not just covered in metal and mind-wiped, like the previous, out-dated model.
But it is much more interesting to see it for yourself…”
"...Oh yes, this is definitely turning into a movie now. I've seen this plot before."
"But... why, pray tell, do you do this? That was the one thing I never understood about those old science fiction films. It was usually just an uprising of some kind, but if you rule this world, what reason is there for any kind of assimilation?"
Oh no, he has to explain something. “…ah remember we hiv tae hiv at least eight hours eh sleep, so a-ah’ve hid little tae no sleep compared tae dat amount.”
"Yes, that does seem to ring a few bells now... but then why haven't you done so, dear? I know sleepless nights can't be avoided now and then, but there's always a reason, isn't there?"

Mansion? Little fairy friend? For anyone else, this would have sounded like nonsense, but to Sonic it made absolute sense. It was mainly the mention of this ‘fairy friend’ that reminded him, sending memories flooding right back into his mind again. Back to when he had been cast back down to Earth from Eggman’s space station, the emeralds loosing their luster. Back to when he had also come across the small being he called Chip. He had fond memories of the little guy, and the adventures they had gone on.
One of which, had been one rainy night where they had taken shelter within the comfort of a seemingly abandoned mansion. The ghost in front of him and her helpers though had proved the latter of that bit to be false however, and to say the least, it had been a sleepless night full of scares and pictures to prove it.
"Oh!" Sonic exclaimed, putting a palm up to his face. "It.. it’s okay, really. My bad. I do remember ya now, though..!" He moved his hand to look back at her, giving an embarrassed grin.
"Wait, you... you do remember? You really, truly do?" What luck, tonight just kept getting better and better! Her wistful tone gave way to unbridled joy, and the ghost couldn't help but spin and roll through the air in glee. He knew who she was! He really really knew! He... also probably remembered that she had his fairy friend tied to a chair so she could pretend to be said fairy and get a photo with him but still! Minor details!
...She'd apologize properly in due time. For now, she'd allow herself to gush.
"Aaaahhh~! I can't believe it, I never thought you would remember!" She was positively glowing now, a side effect of the paranormal emotion spectrum. Though Gwen hardly thought twice about it, and if he didn't mind, well, it couldn't hurt much. "I never thought you'd ever come my way again, it's like destiny~!"
"S-sorry, ah’ve just…never seen a ghost befur." Skye wrinkled his nose, rubbing at his pinched cheek. “‘n…ah hivnae slept mare dan two hoors last night ir at least, ah think ah did."
"Well! That certainly won't do. Er, not the bit about ghosts, but the sleeping. I suppose I'm not one to talk, but how are you still awake even now? I don't quite recall how living sleeping works."
Skye stiffened as the ghost girl kissed his cheek. He took a step back, both surprised and flustered.
"Y-yir r-real?!" Yep, that did the trick! “‘N w-why did yae gae me a-ah kiss fur?"
"Well, how else was I supposed to get you to notice me, silly, of course I'm real~! I only take pictures of spooked faces, and while flustered is nice..."
She reached over and gave the cheek she had kissed a gentle pinch. "I can't say I don't see why you thought I wasn't real. When did you last get some shut eye?"
And it could talk?
"…wow, ah must be turnin’ mental like Shadow said." He rubbed at his eyes, trying to take the sleep out of them.
Well, this was just going from bad to worse. "Er... sweetheart, you're perfectly fine. Oh, how do I fix this one... ah~!"
With a quiet giggle, the ghost leaned forward and pecked the boy on the cheek. That was always a good wake up call!

Skye blinked at the floating newcomer, bags under his heavy eyes. He was tired…and now, he was seeing things. Huh, he’d thought he’d see a ghost-type Pokémon in his delusions if his mind wanted ghostly images.
"…huh?"
As much as she loved spooking, Gwen knew her limits. And looking down at this boy, it was painfully clear that a good scare was the last thing he probably needed. Seeing a ghost was a sight for most people, yes, but people usually weren't this... quiet about it. It was a tad unnerving.
"...you should really get some shut eye, sweetie." Well, someone had to say it.
