Intro!!

We are a mixed origin system (OSDD-1) and we're currently in a hyperfixtation of how our brain works. So we are gonna post some stuff about our disorders and stuff. No dni but i may block if i feel uncomfortable or you argue (we have bad online experiences) Also keep in mind we are cognitvely and fuctionely eight years old. You can refer to us with He/It/Fae pronouns

Also we have a hyperfitation on disorders and tests so not all disorder tests are ones we have.

Before you interact!!! im tired of peple overanaylzing wat i write. Its horrible; im intellectusly disabled and autistic, i promise idk wat underlying meaning means. Which is really bad when you fake claim me for not wording stuff correctly. No Karen, I dont go nonverbal, I am semiverbal which leads to me not speaking most of the time. I didnt understand that aac doesnt count as speaking fully. To argue with me, consider the fact im mentally eight, and then please accommodate for that. I have an emotional maturity of an eight year old too. Not only will I not understand much of your argument, its likely i will lash out and make the argument worse due to me having low emotional control and maturity. This is not to excuse my actions but simply to understand why I react certain ways to stuff.

i didnt think i needed to mention this but gynophobia has nothing to do with misogyny. Misogyny is oppression and discrimination to women and gynophobia is a phobia of women and for me my symptoms include things like having panic attacks if a woman slightly raises her voice at me. I should not have to share my trauma every time bc “having a phobia must mean im discriminatory”

Really enjoying the idea that Grace's angry outburst in Denmark became a meme. The Angry Scientist. It shows up in discussions of egregiously bad sci-fi movies and arguments with antivaxxers and astrophage deniers, in forms ranging from pristine screencap to super-crunchy jpeg. There's an animated parody in the style of Ace Attorney. His students use it without realizing it's him.

is it really some pathological issue of the individual or is it a reasonable response to a society founded in oppression. like. is it really a disorder or is it a trauma response to excessive amounts of stress. it is really a disorder or is it a trauma response to negative social conditioning. is it really a disorder or is it the traumatized mind of someone with a stigmatized neurotype. etc, etc, etc.

by "is it really a disorder" i don't mean that mental illness doesn't exist. i just think people need to question what they mean when they call things a disorder. mentally ill people are not irrational. mentally ill people's struggles make sense in the context of their experiences. mentally ill people don't need fixing - they need support. and this society is not set up to support anyone except the people in power.

please get ready, this one is going to be a bit venty, trigger warning for heavy topics, especially for Choco.

A lot of people are not going to like what I'm going to say because they'd hoped I wouldn't reveal this stuff, I'm not keeping silent anymore

Do you guys remember the Alfie situation? a little trip down memory lane got me looking, and I saw an archive with Gravekandy's post, I corroborated checking Choco's doc and they match, well, here's my problem.

Gravekandy said that "no screenshots were edited" but this is FALSE! they had maliciously edited cherry picked receipts, not all of them, but the one that mattered the most didn't make it, convenient! Choco asking Alfie if they were a Chrono adult, Gravekandy immediately glossed over that and changed to a different receipt,

Why would they do that if they were honest? why would someone skip such pivotal information? because it wasn't honest at all, in fact, it was one of the worst, if not the worst times I've seen someone try to frame their victims, they let minors into that space, the blog wasn't even gated to adults, by tagging everywhere they could find they wanted EVERYONE to know about those DM's, using plausible deniability as a defense

It's the same with DM's in that small doc Gravekandy mace, the people who sexualized Choco? their ages were left anonymous, all of them were adults, Choco's documents no matter how upset they get always provide the ages

Which brings me to something related, remember Doecest? the user who claimed months ago a lot of really harmful things without posting any proof? I'm not sorry to say it was a call from the house.

Choco's detractors have been using Choco as a fetish, as well as the minors the friend group against Choco always orbited, for over a year their detractors have been harassing minors, when called out by said minors for predatory behavior they got off to it, we all saw it with last year while Choco was helping out in the Dani situation people were hornyposting about them, making unsolicited sexual claims, keeping receipts on discord of responses, and overall just starting drama and beefing with kids for the sake of material

This is why these situations took so long, this is why everyone used Choco for content when they were helping them out, to Choco's detractors Choco was nothing but a kink, and the minors surrounding the community, be it antiship or proship, fetish material to get into drama, that's why you see so many of Choco's detractors going on anon to send asks to kids, be it about Choco or just rape threats overall.

So. When you hear someone saying Choco enjoyed the harassment, remember who are the people who started drama to get new material, got off to it, and perpetuated this for over a year to have as many victims as possible.

Choco was genuine about what they fought for, those against them are not, and all of this drams was nothing but a fetish for them to keep collecting from Choco being Choco, that's why everyone has always been so obsessed with them, there's proof of all of this that's public and documented, I'm just sorry I didn't speak up sooner, I used to be friends with some of them and finding out the truth was what made me switch sides so strongly, nobody there cares about anyone but themselves, and will stab eachother in the back without a second of hesitation

"The last time any human touched Ryland Grace was an act of horrific violence"

Well... Yes and no.

The last time Ryland Grace was CONSCIOUS of any human touch was when he was knocked out. Absolutely true.

But the last human contact he would have had was Yao and Ilyukhina. Who were told that he was scared about panicking during launch and asked to be sedated. Who did all the pre flight checks before the Hail Mary launched. Who would have carefully, gently carried Grace to his bed in the dormitory, made sure he was secure, and initiated his coma procedure.

There would have been love there. Remember Ilyukhina throwing her hands high and saying "welcome to crew!" Remember Yao saying how he hoped Grace would say yes. Remember how much the crew trusted Grace, Stratt's First Officer, the guy who helped them so much, and was so kind to them, and was the one who they entrusted their preferred methods of suicide to. Who thought they were wonderful and brave.

They would have tucked him in. Maybe brushed his hair out of his face. Maybe said something kind to him before initiating their own coma procedures.

Ryland Grace doesn't remember, of course he wouldn't. But the last human touch he ever had was full of love.

My favourite Adrian headcanon is that they're a biologist/zoologist who has seen so much shit, they're completely unphased by any and every alien habit of Grace's.

I mean full-on khaki-shorts-wearing, traversing-wilderness-with-nothin'-but-a-machete Adrian who yoinks snakes outta trees and pets swamp puppies and will unflinchingly dig around in elephant faeces for signs of a rare parasitic tapeworm if needed.

Oh, humans eat socially? No problem, Adrian has observed many many animals eat. Did you know that an obscure species of small underground dirt creature from the north side of Erid also eats socially? Adrian can give you a not-so-short presentation on them.

Oh, the human has no external carapace and so its internal sounds are absurdly loud, wet and off-putting? No problem, Adrian was just conducting an expedition last month researching the incredible eridian animal, the Wet Loud Worm from the south-east region of Wet Loud Wormland. They're desensitised, it's fine.

Oh, Grace leaks often from many orifices and it can be a bit of a learning curve to get used to? No problem for Adrian, see Wet Loud Worm paragraph again!

Meanwhile, Rocky is bewildered as to how he's managed to third-wheel both of his relationships, because both Adrian and Grace are nerds who nerd out about things, and Adrian is shaking in their carapace with enthusiasm to learn more about human culture and biology, not to mention everything about earth animals. And yeah, sure, Grace might be a molecular biologist, but he'll be damned if he'll pass up an opportunity to learn about alien fauna from a fellow scientist, and yes, Adrian, he'd love to hear about the small underground dirt creature from the north side of Erid, and he's so excited to learn more about the Wet Loud Worm, do go on.

Okay but teacher Grace on Erid having very little say in which kids get filtered into his class, though he is aware that the selection process is super specific and that most of the kids he gets are high performers with star academics and some even with influential parents. He isn't quite comfortable enough with Eridian culture yet to object to the selection process and make it more inclusive, however. That is, until he learns about the special needs kids.

Obviously, there are Eridian kids with special needs, and a few of them even filter into his classes. But one specific type of special needs kid has never shown up in his classes, and the only reason he even learned of the condition is because Rocky and Adrien's first pebble has the condition.

It's initially quite a struggle for them to deal with, and Grace sympathizes of course, because the child will apparently have huge learning and academic struggles and will likely never be able to live on their own. That is, until he learns the details of the disability.

Basically, it's a condition where the part of the Eridian brain that gives them their eidetic memory isn't fully developed, and so these kids just... can't remember things the way most eridians do. And in a culture where an eidetic memory is the norm, all things cater to that, so not having that is actually a massive disability.

But Grace is like, so... this kid just learns the same way a human does, or something like. Which is nothing new to him, though he is somewhat boggled at how much Rocky and Adrian struggle with their infant and their "slow" learning curve, even as far as initial developmental stages. Grace, on the other hand, simply treats the kid the same way he would a human infant, and Rocky and Adrien are impressed with his patience.

But, through this, it occurs to Grace that there must be other kids out there with this disability who likely aren't getting the attention and chances in life that they deserve, because Eridian culture is particularly hostile toward this disability, and actively views those with it as unable to function in regular society.

So Grace demands that a special course be put together where he teaches kids with this disability specifically. Rocky is hesitant, as most kids with this disability are home schooled and kind of... kept shut away. But Grace insists and as one of Erid's saviors, he gets what he wants eventually.

His first class is super small, maybe only three kids because so few parents were willing to advertise that their children have this disability. And because of the stigma around it, even those who agreed to it are super unsure and want to be present during the lessons, perhaps paranoid about the impression it will leave on Savior Grace, who is so accustomed to only teaching the most gifted students.

But Grace knows exactly how to deal with these kids. Some of them have varying degrees of function when it comes to their memory banks, which isn't so unlike teaching kids on earth. And so Grace is able to introduce all these tools and teaching techniques that were previously unheard of on Erid (though very normal on Earth) like having textbooks for reference with you at all times and having strategies that are less focused on memorization for understanding, and providing these kids with tools like calculators and teaching them the art of taking notes to look back on, etc etc.

Suddenly, with all these tools that most Eridians don't need, these kids are learning at a much faster rate, and succeeding with the help of all their little tools. And because so many normal eridians are ignorant of Grace's actual biology, it's shocking to them that Savior Grace doesn't have an eidetic memory either (shocking to everyone but Rocky anyway)--that his brain functions quite similarly in capacity to these "disabled" children.

Once this news gets around, suddenly there's more kids in his special classes, and there's all kinds of discourse being inflamed because the real reason these kids can't live on their own or function is lack of support from Eridian society.

If Savior Grace, who is well respected as a genius in his own right amongst the Eridians, can function so successfully, they why can't these kids?

I dunno, I just think it's an interesting premise.
