Its been a while...

I stopped coming on here years ago, mostly because I got wrapped up in all the hate and stupidity that just engulfed Tumblr between racism, sexism and all the social phobias (trans, islam, etc). I let it consume me and get under my skin to the point where it was effecting me offline. I got a kid now, can’t just go flying off the handle whenever somebody doesn’t agree with me, no matter who the facts back. that being said....

For anyone who hasn’t heard and would like to help, there is a youth suicide crisis in attawapiskat, a first nation reserve here in Canada. A while back 11 youths committed suicide in one night. A p.o box has been opened for concerned citizens to send postcards or small gifts (I’m sending a chicken noodle soup for the soul and a small bible)

This is by far not the only reserve with high teen suicide rates, but the crisis has definitely opened Canada’s eyes to the conditions of these reserves.
