Regarding writing, why I share my work, and why some works will be abandoned:

Crucially, I write for myself, but I share my work for comments/connection,

and if I don't get any, I'll just keep the story to myself going forward because, otherwise, it'll just make me sad. So, if sharing my story decreases the level of joy it sparks for me, I will no longer post more of it. Simple as that. Like, I am not a content provider, and if I see that people subscribe, bookmark, and leave kudos* but can't be bothered to leave a comment, I lose the drive to share ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*kudos is nice and all, and if it's just a single chapter fic, I can get something out of them (in theory but not really), but honestly, I don't really care about something that might as well be just a way for someone to mark which fics have been read already

also, I'll admit that I do have a kind of cursed relationship with Kudos because I don't care all that much about getting them, but if I get less than 1 per 10 hits, I feel bad (don't ask me how I translate that into multi-chapter fics; it's complicated and involves charts) 🙈😭

a really cool thing i saw on instagram was someone pointing out how sarah, during the whole movie, is on bear's left while nikki is always on his right. it's such an interesting and nice touch, like, i didn't even notice but i loved it

I mean, you might not have noticed it because it's just not true? like, there is a very prominent scene where Nikki literally takes Sarah's place?

there might be more scenes where this is not true, but this one immediately jumped to the forefront of my mind

I don't know if this has already been said but by blowing up their arms and destroying Hashirama and Madara's statues in the process Naruto and Sasuke symbolically and quite literally rejected being like their predecessors. It's the fact that they were able to reconcile what make them different and made it possible to break the cycle. Not only are they not brothers, like Ashura and Indra; there was never real hate between them. And they aren't like Hashirama and Madara either, because their love for each was greater than their duties and ambitions.

It's the fact Naruto and Sasuke love each other and that's what saved them. That's what is about.
