THE GREEN RANGER.
Design Thesis poster. Comic Book Etiquette, or if you want, Comic Etiquette Book.
Other than my logo, this is a first look at my Design Thesis. This project is for my graduating year, at George Brown College (Toronto, Canada), in the Graphic Design program.
This poster was printed, and mounted on foamcore behind my project.
This has been my baby for the past couple of weeks, and will still be until it's done in the next few weeks.
It's my Thesis Design project that I've decided to tackle. The topic is obvious but the deliverables will be shown off later on. I'm really excited to share this with you guys, even though it's just a logo. There will be more to come soon, I promise!
Just something I put together for a class.
A quick project, that had me portraying my other half. The female-touched side, of course, my girlfriend.
Cool little Info Graphic that Marvel released to show the two new factions of the X-Men
FASTEST MAN ALIVE.

Self Portrait.
I'll be honest and say that, I kept trying to make it look and feel like another style, more rugged, and such. But then I just decided, it's not my style.
So, here it is. A new self portrait. My style.

A spread from my AIR JORDAN Brochure/Catalog for my Corporate Design course.
Applications Used: Adobe Indesign & Photoshop
Working on a Corporate project right now. It's to design an Annual Report for a company of my choice. This is the entire cover that I came up with.
So my last semester in school ever is about to begin.
And I've already got two projects due the day I come back. Stressful!!
Anyways, my New Year's Resolution, or one of, is to get this blog rolling and going. I haven't been posting frequently and I need to train myself to keep up to date with inspiration, design trends and all the sort. So. I'm gonna do my best.
This is the refresh. Time to get on these projects.
WELP! Here's part 3 of my MMPR series!
The PINK RANGER!!
PART TWO of my MIGHTY MORPHIN' POWER RANGERS SERIES.
Just a little something I decided to whip up!
It's the beginning of a new series of wallpapers/posters that I'm going to be tossing out so that I keep on my toes.
First up: THE RED RANGER.
OH YEAH. If you guys want to request a wallpaper size just "ask" away and let me know what size you'd like and I'll gladly do it for you!
PROJECT: A HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUNDAM
A personal project done originally as a commission, that later became a belated birthday present. He sent me a picture of his favorite Gundam, the GNT-0000 00 QANT [T] model, and I had to design a new poster for him! His plan is to get it signed by one of the Gundam Wing voice actors at this year's Fan Expo!
Applications Used: Adobe Illustrator CS5 Adobe Photoshop CS5
Introducing BLKOUTLN, aka Corbin Portillo. He's a classmate, a brother, an amazing friend, and a huge inspiration to my design life. Just wanted to share with you guys some of my favourite pieces designed, and created by him.
He designs, illustrates, and sprays cans whenever he can!
Show him some love, and check out his personal Tumblr, here!
So, allow me to introduce myself. The name is Allan Joseph Martinez, and my passion is for Graphic Design. It all started with me designing and making layouts and themes for my friends and my Asian Avenue pages in Grade 4. I’ve always had a thing for art and design. My love for design grew when I joined the Yearbook Team in Grade 10, and attended my first Graphic Design class in the same grade. After that, I knew where my future was going to lead me. My teacher, Mr. Dan Collins, for Grades 11 and 12 made the course and career seem so much fun. Homework didn't feel like homework. And the classes felt like they weren’t being taught in a classroom. From then on, the Yearbook Team became my life, and second family, especially in the 12th grade, graduating year. That last Yearbook meant a lot to me. It was where I met one of my biggest inspirations (that’s for another story) and it was the book where I had my biggest role on the Yearbook team, ever. Along with a few other friends we formed, what I believe to be the best yearbook Editorial team that high school ever had! It was also the yearbook where my best friend and I got to design the cover.
And so, that's the end of my origins chapter. Hope you're all still interested in following me through what's coming up!
