anyway if you’ve been on the fence about watching Titans, give it a try. the trailers did it no justice and aside from a couple of bad dye jobs, the cinematography, plot and acting is solid. very akin to watching a movie rather than a series 👍

Ok I’m disgusted. Y’all were throwing so much of a hissy fit over Anna Diope’s skin color that you’re overlooking Beast Boy (who’s not green but y’all didn’t say shit about that) who’s played by Ryan Porter who is 23 being paired with Raven played by Teagan Croft who is actually 14. Like they’re a confirmed to have a romantic relationship on the show. I hope anything beyond flirting is filmed with a stunt double. CAN WE PLEASE PROTECT CHILD ACTORS GOD DAMN 😒🤢

Let me clarify. Soberly this time, lol. Teagan is under the age of consent. So she can’t legally do anything that’s not PG. They’ve already shown underaged sex scenes in the context of Dawn and Dick but their actors are legal adults, so that’s fine. Stage kisses aren’t really a thing on TV, they have to be real because of how they film it. I’m going to hope they’re not going to have a 15 year old couple have sex in the show, but DC has portrayed underaged sex and will do it again. That’s why I’m concerned.

Dc needs to release a statement saying any non-PG romantic scenes are filmed with a stunt double who’s of age. If Ryan was under 18 as well I think they’re allowed to do some non-PG acting if they’re over 16... but again, Teagan is only 14. If they plan to go through with having them develop a romantic relationship like some of the comics show them having, they need to think about the logistics. You need to stop thinking of Teagan as only Raven/Rachel and look into the treatment of child actors in Hollywood. She’s doing a fantastic job and me and many others want her to be safe.
