Adrien growing his hair out and letting it become messy for some semblance of control over his own life and the strict expectations that were put onto him as a child, trying desperately to recognise himself in the mirror.

i love to see adrien suffer (affectionate ^-^). takes place in some sort of s4/early s5 canon divergence where adrien finds out hawkmoth is his father and that he is a senti before ladybug and this is essentially exploring his feelings of identity crisis and lack of autonomy in being a sentimonster, as well as the guilt i imagine he would feel about having been living under the same roof as hawkmoth all this time and not realising
