Happy Pride Month!

Here is the second week of pride camper cards based on my personal HCs. As always, this is for my masterpost of camper cards. Click the read more for more info on my head canons.

Rod (Ace Flag, HC Gay FtM Demiboy Who's Asexual): Rod is asexual and I refuse to hear otherwise. I also refuse to hear otherwise about his boyfriend. In the ACPC description for him it talks about his favorite word... "ace". All I'm saying is the short hand for asexual is ace and there is literally a bird in the game (who I do touch on later this month :P) named Ace. Beyond that, I feel like the demiboy part is vibes. He's certainly not normal about his gender, look at him, but I do think he's male too yk? Demiboy just fits the fella.

Bruce (Demisexual Flag, HC cishet demi aroace): Bruce is a tricky fella to pinpoint I think. He does give me cishet energy which normally would be bad but he also seems like the kind of guy you can attach yourself to at a bar and he'd protect you. I think he, only in his old age, realized aroace even existed let alone was a spectrum. Otherwise he's definitely the flavor of cishet who's a biker that will fight someone to protect the queer community. Old ally turned a little spicy in the queer department, yk? Maybe I'm projecting, he's an old favorite of mine from ACNL. Little me just got really attached to his vibe.

Lucky (Aromantic Flag, HC Aromantic Agender): I'm going to say it right now, the only reason why Lucky isn't listed as aroace is that I view them as entirely too young to have any sexual desire. That said, can you really imagine the mummy dog of all things remotely enjoying romance? I can't. Lucky definitely gives me "romance repulsed" energy. Nothing visceral but Lucky would 100% get just a little uncomfortable each time they see or hear about romance. As for agender... well I'm sorry but if I, an agender, think that Lucky is gender affirming then Lucky is agender. I don't make the rules.

Cube, (Aromantic Asexual Flag, HC aroace genderqueer): Okay stop. Look at him. He's literally the sunset Flag colors. Look at his eyes. Do his eyes read "wants to find love" to you? No. He's concerned about his comic books and space. Love is a four letter word that means absolutely nothing to him. This autistic penguin has no time for such frivolous things. As for the genderqueer end of things... look at him again. Do you think Cube can be constrained by any gender boxes? No. This penguin definitely has at least 3 neopronouns to his name. His gender updates live as he finds more niche pronouns and gender expressions. Cube simply cannot be contained.
