FINALLY DONE!!! I've been hacking away at this since May. It wasn't easy to come up with four new designs for the Bishops so that they were distinct from their "canon" designs (i.e. their designs as I've depicted them in Shiloh's timeline.)
Much like how in every timeline a Bishop must be chained, it so too seems fated that each God must fall for their Vessel. Some harder and sooner than others, some later and more subdued but no less powerful.

Wonderfully Wonderful Wonder
Hello, hello, and hello! I've noticed that when it comes to COTL art, I tend to analyse Narilamb art, but I'm trying to give some love to the less popular characters, such as Kallamar. Honestly, this artwork is as good a one to start with as anything else, and I'm willing to give it a spin. Also! The characterisation, lighting, and environment are spot on.
Kallamar, in the artwork, seems to have been caught off guard because of the air bubbles and the shock in his eyes, as if he were picking up seaweed in peace with his tentacles. Sorry! To a certain extent, it's a vulnerable moment, you know, a one-to-one moment, which was not meant to be seen, not from a bishop at least. It's something that grounds the moment.
And we couldn't be talking about grounding without the environment, right? The bottom of the sea is void of colour, filled to the brim with human waste, a living underwater ecosystem, and the varied species of fish. Keenly, the water has no fish, besides Kallamar himself. And I think that's the point, to put the attention on him, and nothing else in the environment.
Now! We get to my favourite part, which I have been dying to talk about, and it's the lighting. Look at it! I love the way the sunlight reflects on the water's surface, how the water pierces the water like a beam, and fades to the bottom. It enhances the focus on Kallamar's expression and the upper body, which are highlighted by the lighting. Lighting is so hard, but so important.
Lastly, to summarise, I think the artwork as a whole is a good example of how to connect the character to the environment and tell a story, which we, as the viewer, can fill in the blanks with. Resulta y acontece que como proyecto final cada ciclo de la U tendre una exposici贸n de trabajos. Para mi primer semestre en Arte aplicado tenemos basicamente lo que es una galer铆a de arte donde se exponen los mejores trabajos.
Yo lleve mi pintura, la hice con acrilico y lapices de colores y me inspir茅 en hacerla sobre cult of the lamb que es por mucho uno de mis juegos favorito sino es que mi juego favorito.
El d铆a del evento FUE ABURRIDISIMO, no lleg贸 nadie y por eso a la hora de la comida ME FUI A ALMORZAR NOMAS, TRANQUILO, y pues que resulta que alguien se acerco a preguntar por mi pintura y por m铆 y por algo que yo no sab铆a que podian preguntar: precio.
Pues nada, yo no estaba as铆 que NO VENDIERON LA PINTURA NI LA PUDE VENDER YO PORQUE AL SE脩OR PENDEJO AQUI LE DIO HAMBRE. As铆 que eso, recuerden no abandonar sus trabajos y llevar comidita a la mano a los eventos de la facultad, bye.
