Normally, under any other circumstance, Johnny wouldn't exactly be going out of his way to do some kid's hair for them—but this was an emergency. The girl had gotten gum stuck in her hair, and Johnny couldn't tolerate seeing anyone in a hair crisis like this. He'd already managed to cut the wad of gum out, but now he just needed to make the cut look good.

"Quit movin', kid, before ya mess me up! Alright, 'M almost done... aaand—what do ya think?"

He finished combing through her hair, then held the mirror up to let her get a look at her new hairstyle!

Tater tried not thinking about it too much... Usually she could just shake this kinda stuff outta her hair, but for some reason, this one piece of gum has been stickin' on there good! Tater tried lightly tugging at it, but it weren't worth the risk of losing a few hair follicles... Luckily, it wasn't anything a little snip wouldn't fix either!

After getting the brushing out of the way first, it was finally time for Johnny to cut the gum out, and eventually give her a new style to cover up the mess, and when she finally got to see her new hairstyle... At first she was a little iffy, but in a quick moment she got around to it. "Ooh, don't I look good! Thanks for cutting the gum out!" Though she hasn't seen this guy around here before, he's already made a well-enough impression with the new hairdo.

"Hanafuda? That's like a card game, right?" Tater looked up to her, with a curious look in her eyes. She tried in the moment to think about what Hanafuda cards looked like, but she had only ever heard of them in passing before, and thusly couldn't imagine an accurate visual depiction. "Uhh, yeah, I know about Hanafuda!"

She only knows Go Fish.

But now that Tater's 10, she'll take any opportunity she can get to indulge in the fun activities that the big kids partake in, from role-playing tabletops, to tolerating the local news. Even if it meant allowing herself to be temporarily taken under the wing of an oddly compelling newcomer. "So, where're we going?"
