the number of people who seriously believe frank would have encouraged karen to further traumatize herself by killing dex, proves that they don't actually get frank's character and only care to glorify his violence without understanding it. frank would have stopped karen and killed dex himself, that's the only difference. whether that would have been better or worse, is honestly debatable
to add onto this, he doesn't like convincing anyone to kill at all. even if they feel like it's a last resort like in DD season 2. he told Matt that killing is a place you can't come back from, he does the killing because he sees himself as a lost cause. it's a sacrifice of his mortality to kill so brutally and often. it's necessary and he believes he needs to be the one to do it at the same time no one else should.
Different takes are fine but I'm seeing so much "WHY WON'T MATT MURDOCK KILL BAD GUYS IF THEY'RE REALLY BAD" and like, babes that's the show, that's the entire show in both the OG DD show and the new one. This is his whole thing. We have been over this repeatedly.

For the love of God stop putting X READER if your character HAS NAME because it's not X READER if you put a NAME to the character It's OC. It's so annoying I'm not going to polite. putting it as reader insert, some of you do that shit to push your work more out but it's literally make REAL X READER work hard to find UNDERSTAND THAT. You may think it's just one fic but when there is more than few of you starts to pull this shit it's getting so irritating. There are readers out there like OC so please learn to use PROPER TAGGING.
