Can we talk about how Seto is constantly (Noa arc, Doma arc) in situations where he is forced to relieve the whole trauma of his childhood all over again? And what impact that would have on him? I know it’s not in the manga but anime wise it is canon, when at the end of the Virtual World arc he says “let’s not talk about this ever again” basically everyone interprets it as it not mattering but to me it’s just his attempt at hiding how painful that whole ordeal was.

you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. i love Seto but i acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and i can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always right)
