This is a quick art piece I did previously for an English assignment for The PoisionWood Bible. I really love reading the Rachel Price's POV as I believe that her shallowness in really her comfort for materialistic goods in a dyfunctional family and patriarchial society of the 1950s. Rachel has a reoccuring mental breakdown while sitting in the mirror to admire herself. This scene is supposedly the moment where she grabs the mirror during the Nsongonya's rampage and destroy the village.

This book really was one of my favorite books to discuss about and I hope people enjoy or feel passionately (whether in joy or disdain) about this book.

Years later confessing that I am queer, I have officially realized that I am biace! (or biromantic asexual).

My experience at least at an biace person was interesting to say the the least. I could not understand the sexual feelings that others tried to usher me to fangirl about. I did not understand my friend's excitement and squeals after rewinding movie clips of two people kissing 4 times in a row. I also however did not understand the things people assumed being me because i'm opening ace. Being told that I was just innocent and not an ace person, I just have not found the right guy, and I just want friends and no relationships was also really disheartening to hear. Being openingly ace and (in public only open to close friends) bisexual, my queer journey has certainly been a wild ride.
