But I'm so glad my work/ramblings have given others a new outlook on things! Polyam is super underutilized in fandom spaces. Why should I have to pick between Jewel x Ace and Jewel x Storm E. and so on and so forth when they could all hold hands and be happy!!! They probably plan date nights and have a schedule of some kind because of Jewel

So uh, not sure what the answer might be, but have you heard of the WP parodies of Lalaloopsy? Like Kooky Karla and Crusty Carol? And if so, how do you imagine them to be?

I've seen fanart of them a few times but never really looked into them myself since I can be rather easily squicked out. So I can't say that I'd be any good at creating ideas for them. But I do find it admirable that there are artists who incorporate them properly into the Lalaloopsy canon! And a lot of their fanart is really cute from what I've seen ^^

Ryden Waves is Lalaloopsy Land's Surfing Enthusiast! 'Sewn' from a Surf Board he celebrates his Sewn On Date the 3rd Saturday of June. He loves the ocean and surfing along side his pet Sea Turtle. In an effort to keep the beaches of Lalaloopsy Land nice and tidy he frequently collects things for his pal Patch Treasurechest's collection!

I didn't want too simple a design for this guy and kept thinking about early 2000's/2010's Tropical/Beach aesthetics. As such I used them as his inspiration.

I was at a convention awhile back and met someone who admitted they used their Jewel Sparkles doll to beat up their sibling. You can wield a Lalaloopsy like a plastic flail 😊

Bea vs Dot

Either in a "what do you think about them" way or a "who would win in a fight" way whichever you prefer

In a fight I'd have to give it to Dot. In We're alone she's nearly blown herself up several times doing her experiments and still does them anyway. Rosy hoarded all the fear in town square now Dots blowing up her house by accident.

Bea is a librarian/teacher and Dot is an inventor/astronaut. She's out there moving machines that weight more than several loopsy's combined do on the regular. She could fold Bea like a sheet of paper if she wanted. But she wouldn't because they're friends 💕

In terms of what I think about them? I honestly love them both.

I know a lot of Bea's traits where handed over to Dot in We're, frankly I wish We're had Bea as well.

Dot being a scientist and inventor lines up perfectly with her main interest of being an Astronaut. And I find a lot of charm is added to her character because of it. She's smart but clearly wants to know more. She wants to discover something new and be able to answer previously unanswered questions by forging the path herself. I like how We're characterizes her. She's nerdy and a bit eccentric, she uses big words the others don't really understand, but she's so genuine about her curiosity.

Bea is fun because she's a smart ass. She knows a lot and in Girls especially she takes a lot of pride in it. She's the embodiment of nerdy tropes and has a lot of charm because of it.

Girls Bea really shines for me because shes canonically nosy, it's why she wants to work on the school's news paper. It adds something to her character. This minor and somewhat comical flaw. She's gonna snoop because shes curious and is somewhat self aware about it. Shame we never got to see it in full.
