The young farmer watched eagerly as Lissa began working her magic on his weapon, the entire sword being engulfed in a bright light. He had never heard of this type of staff before, and most of the time he would try fixing his own things when they got worn out with whatever he had on him, so this was a well received surprise to him. In a short time, the light disappeared and in its place was his own sword, no longer looking worn but brand new.
Reaching down, he picked up the sword by the hilt and spun it around in place, taking a good glance at the blade. “Why, it looks like she just came straight out from a blacksmith. I can even see my own reflection. You’re really good with these staff things, i’m mighty impressed!” he said, lowering the weapon with a smile. “Thanks, Lissa!”
"No problem Donny! Just doing what a sister should do!" Lissa winked with pride. Donny's praises for the Princess made her very elated as finally, she did something nice for the farmer instead of the usual trouble.
" Now Donny, let me ask you a question..." Lissa grabbed the farmer's attention and sat down on the nearest flat stone. "Do you think I should be a pegasus knight?"
