hello! i just wanted to ask, will you be translating BEAST 13 too?

I definitely intend on translating chapter 13 when I can, sadly life has been very hectic for me as of late and I haven’t managed to find the time to sit down and do it. (this chapter in particular is verrry wordy). Sorry for the delay but in the meantime you can keep an eye on this site where I found recently someone else seems to also be translating the beast chapters as well. Hopefully a translation of chapter 13 will be out soon. Thanks for your patience

Hi! I think eventually once the bsd beast manga is completed it’ll probably get an official english translation at some point! I’m just translating the chapters right now for people who don’t want to wait who knows how long for an official translation

Tanizaki is the person who comes the closest to “evil” among all the Detective Agency employees. This is what I always tell everyone involved in this work.

That point is expressed very clearly in this scene.

He was captured by the enemy when he had to let his sister escape no matter what. In such situation, Tanizaki hit the enemy with the truck of a civilian who happened to pass by. By doing that, the truck would be completely destroyed and the driver would not be able to come out intact. But Tanizaki couldn’t care less about such things. Because for him, justice, morality or peace for the people, all come after his “sister”. The line where he said “If it is for Naomi, I would gladly reduce the world to ashes,” is called “sekayaki”* (world-burn) by the stage play staff, and is the line I was asked to include into the script at all costs.
