Return of Spring // Sprite & Firebird

While Urúvion did appreciate that the Sprite didn’t press the subject further he wasn’t too fond of the silence that followed for a time. He noticed her stepping forward and reaching out towards him and he made no move to flinch away, after all, it wasn’t as though he were actually going to burn her in anyway while in this form.
It was clear she hadn’t meant the action to be obvious but it wasn’t hard to tell there was something wrong, which Firebird found himself confused about for a time, after all he couldn’t burn her like this…perhaps it was a phantom burn?
Shaking the thought off he decided to focus on what the Sprite had said. He thought the offer over a moment then shrugged. “I don’t see why not.” He agreed. “Why don’t you lead the way then?”
Sprite rubbed her hand along her arm, eyeing Uruvion quizically, but letting her smile play out gently. She shifted faintly and let her eyes wander along the human form-- Well, human...Ish. He was still whomever, whatever he was beneath, and though the feeling faded, she could still-- Tell. Some things, it seemed, though form shifting and function fading, didn’t seem to change: Creatures of the old world were they.
Sprite, however, cheered immediately and clasped her hands, laughing warmly, “Truly? Oh! Wonderful- Let’s go-” She picked up the edges of her earthen robe and moved forward, pivoting on her heel and laughing, “Come on! I’ve been hearing bluebells ringing all morning and I haven’t seen thoe in-” She paused to count the ringlets waving from her hair, and blinked, “Oh, my. Quite a while. Er.” She blushed and winked, “Who’d have thought?”
With that, she nodded forward and strutted on, giddy and moving to forget the slight discomfort. It could all be behind them! Just as long as they moved forward!
