During one of these storms, a lightning strike hit the cable connecting our customer’s home to the grid. The cable was severely damaged, and our customer lost power to their home completely. Because of this, our customer was facing a significant out-of-pocket expense and a lot of hoops he would need to jump through. His property is battle-axed, and he has a long, shared driveway, meaning the distance between his home and the street connection point is quite lengthy. Powerwall 3 + Expansion Packs | How Does it Perform? LIVE DATA with Tesla App

This Sigenergy Battery Install Needed a Three-Phase Upgrade

The owner of this home in Greenbank was looking to take control of their energy consumption and secure their energy independence. With a decent energy draw and desire to set up the home for an electrified future, this customer was looking for a complete energy system overhaul. When our customer first approached Springers Solar, they had a 5kW solar system and were a single-phase site. This customer had clear goals: secure energy independence and blackout protection for the home, and set it up to be a multi-EV household. With these clear goals in mind, our design and engineering team planned a system that would tick all of the customer’s goals. The foundation of this new system was a three-phase upgrade to the home. Our team worked with Energex & the customer’s energy retailers to get a three-phase connection to the property, the home’s connections rewired, and a new energy meter installed. Comiskey Group | Dakabin Hotel Powering Dining & Entertainment With Solar

With a plan to include a feature one-restaurant-two-kitchen dining experience, extensive sports bar, entertainment precinct and gaming room, the Comiskey Group sought to offset the carbon footprint and minimise the electricity bills for the new hotel. Having worked with Springers Solar previously for their other venues, the Comiskey Group engaged Springers Solar during the planning phase for the construction of this new venue. Eddie Springer and our commercial solar team worked closely with the Comiskey Group to design, engineer and install a system that met the needs of the property. We installed a 100kW solar PV array, consisting of 215 Canadian Solar 465W N-Type solar panels on the roof of the hotel.
