사실, 실제로 해달을 본 적은 없습니다. 유투브로, 구글에서 동영상과 사진들을 본 게 전부죠. 하지만 이 사랑스러운 생명체를 토이로 만들어보자 생각이 들었습니다.그래서 동영상과 사진들, 다큐멘터리들을 보았습니다.

해달인 “달”에게서 귀여운 느낌 뿐만아니라 여유로움과 은근한 다정함을 찾고 싶었습니다.

Therefore, I created Optimic.Optimic has high self-esteem about himself and positive personality even though he is too thin to show his sense of fashion off

남들의 시선보다도 자기애가 강한 요즘의 소년과 청년들, 유행보다도 자기 개성을 사랑하는그 생기 발랄한 모습이 인상적이어서 Optimic 이라는 캐릭터를 탄생 시켰다. 삐쩍 말라서 속상해하긴 커녕 “더 키 커보이는 것 같아. 옷 테가 나서 좋아” 하는 긍정의 아이콘 Optimic 엉뚱하고, 어설프더라도 유쾌하고 즐거운 에너지를 담고 싶었다.
