seriously. Iâm so fucking tired but I canât sleep
Can you write something for Logan with a reader who loves physical touch but is kinda scared to initiate it because doesn't want to look clingy/needy?
Maybe they're talking with Logan and they go to touch his leg or his arm but they stop midway or they lean their head on his shoulder just for a few seconds and go back to sitting straight fearing they overstepped, idk stuff like this and how loga would react.
Thank youuu đ
Close Enough
The night was still, the kind of quiet Logan appreciated after a long day. The two of you sat side by side on the worn leather couch in his cabin, a fire crackling softly in the fireplace. The conversation had drifted into a comfortable silence, each of you lost in your own thoughts. It was moments like these that you cherished mostâbeing close to Logan, feeling the warmth of his presence.
But as much as you loved being near him, a small voice in the back of your mind kept you from reaching out, from closing the small distance between your hand and his. You were scared. Scared that if you let yourself touch him, if you gave in to the urge to lean against him, youâd be seen as too needy, too clingy. Logan wasnât exactly the most open person, and you didnât want to push him away.
Your hand twitched on the cushion beside you, fingers inching closer to his leg. You paused midway, your heart skipping a beat as doubt washed over you. What if he didnât want you to? What if you were overstepping? The thought was enough to make you pull back, retreating before you could close the gap.
Loganâs eyes flicked over to you, catching the movement. He didnât say anything, but the small furrow in his brow showed heâd noticed. You forced a smile and looked away, hoping he wouldnât think too much of it.
Minutes passed, and you found yourself fighting the same battle. You wanted to be closer to him, to feel the reassurance of his solid presence. Steeling yourself, you leaned your head against his shoulder, just for a moment. The warmth of his body seeped into you, and for those few seconds, everything felt right. But just as quickly, you pulled back, sitting up straight as if nothing had happened. You could feel the heat rising in your cheeks, embarrassed by your own actions.
Logan didnât move, but you could feel his gaze on you. The silence between you grew heavier, the crackling fire the only sound in the room. You swallowed hard, unable to bring yourself to look at him.
Finally, Logan broke the silence. âYou donât gotta hold back, darlinâ.â
His voice was rough, but there was a softness to it that caught you off guard. You glanced at him, finding his intense blue eyes watching you, the faintest hint of a smile on his lips.
âIâm notâŠâ You started to deny it, but the words died in your throat. Heâd seen right through you.
Logan let out a small sigh, more of an exhale, and shifted on the couch. Before you could react, his large, calloused hand was covering yours, his grip firm but gentle. He didnât say anything more, just left his hand there, the warmth of his skin grounding you.
âYou donât gotta be scared âround me,â he continued, his voice low and steady. âI know I ainât the easiest to get close to, but⊠if you wanna touch me, lean on me, whatever⊠Iâm not gonna push you away.â
The sincerity in his words made your chest tighten, and you felt a wave of relief wash over you. You hadnât realized how much youâd needed to hear that, how much youâd been holding back out of fear. Tentatively, you turned your hand over under his, your fingers brushing against his rough palm. He didnât pull away, didnât flinchâjust let you take your time.
Encouraged, you leaned back against him, this time letting your head rest fully on his shoulder. Logan didnât move, didnât say a word, but his hand squeezed yours, a silent reassurance that this was okay. That you were okay.
For a long time, you stayed like that, the fire crackling softly in the background, the weight of your fears slowly melting away. Loganâs presence was solid, steady, and as you finally allowed yourself to relax against him, you realized that this was what youâd been craving all alongâa connection, the simple comfort of being close to him.
âThanks,â you whispered, the words barely audible.
Logan didnât respond right away, but when he did, his voice was softer than youâd ever heard it. âAnytime, kid.â
And with that, you knew that you didnât have to worry anymore. Logan might not say much, might not be the most open or affectionate person, but in his own way, he was telling you that you were enough. That your presence, your touch, was welcome. And that was more than you could have ever hoped for.
(Also if you need more context for anything I type, donât be afraid to ask!!)
Cylis grunted as Auzzi landed on top of him. The two were the last ones through the portal, as usual.
The others from their travel group had decided it would be best to split into pairs and travel through the realms toâhopefullyâfind someone who could help them find the realm they were looking for.
Cylis used his cape to push Auzzi off of him, gently levitating himself to an upright position. He helped Auzzi off the ground.
âWhere are we?â Auzzi asked as he wrapped himself in Cylisâs cape. âI donât recognize this realm.â
// if I understood you right, then realms = worlds, what means, they are in the world where Soul is, right?
ă €- You mean like... what's my species?
ă €- Well, in that case, I'm a demon!
ă €- I'm pretty sure we belond to the same kind, I'm just more human-like!
She's smiling at them, thinking they are from somewhat similar world to her, is not from here.
Then she flinched in some kind of realisation and jump from them.
ă €- OH! You're not here to hunt me down, are you?
It's obviously not that, because one can't even see her properly, and they haven't attaked her. But she haven't thought that through yet, and she's just on alert.
âWhat? No, weâre here to look for help. You see-â
Auzzi cut him off, speaking so fast it was hard to understand him. âWeâre looking for a specific realm, but our magic hasnât been able to locate it just yet, so our group decided to split up into pair to hopefully find someone who can help us guide the magic in the right direction.â
ă €- I can see magic energy, so I think I can help with that!
ă €- Can you tell me about this world you're searching for?
ă €- I can guess it's magical energy by it's magical aspects.
ă €- ...
ă €- Well... that's problematic...
ă €- How are you gonna find world without even knowing how it looks like?
ă €- Or are you perhaps looking for someone?
ă €- Well, it seems you have no way of finding it!
She got positive out of nowhere.
Soul noticed random rock on the ground. She picked it up and ate it. Her teeth became sharp and shatered the rock with ease. After she was done her teeth became normal again.
he then also picked up a rock, shoving it into his head. âIâm made of jelly, so nothing kills me easily!â He remarked as if it was an accomplishment
(sorry for being on less. School started and I have a friend thatâs mentally draining me so itâs just harder to bring myself online irl and on here)
âuhh, no? I just put it in my headâ Auzzi reached back into his head, pulling the rock out. âIâm basically made of jelly, so it doesnât harm me. It also means I canât die that easily.â
âbut can you eat it?â Cylis asked in curiosity. âYouâre teeth are sharp enough.â
âIâm not hungry.â Auzzi took Soulâs hand, placing the rock in the middle of her palm
ă €- So, you can use your head as a storage?? That's so cool! I can only store souls inside myself. Everything else I put in my backpack!
She pointed at the backpack on her back. It wasn't small, but not very big either. Something in the middle. Big enough for whatever she needed to take with her.
âpretty much! Though itâs also fairly common among monsters. It just depends on if youâre lucky enough to have a skin element thatâs harder to destroy.â
ă €- I never saw that kind of body!
ă €- ...
ă €- So you're "monsters"?
ă €- That sounds like a rude name to be called...
ă €- Who would even name your kind that way?
âThatâs how humans refer to us. They call anything unusual a monster, especially if it just happens to kill. Our proper names are Fenris, if youâre referring to one, or Makaran if youâre referring to multiple.â
ă €- That's cool!
ă €- In my world... and all nearby ones, anyone like us would be called a demon, because we commonly assumed to be all bad.
ă €- Can't blame them for that tho.
ă €- They are quite weak themselfs.
"Well, to be fair, if you're weak, you try harder to seem stronger and scarier. I know someone like that." Auzzi grumbled a name under his breath, so low it was inaudible
