@sprinkar
basically the best thing any character can do is decide they don't want to be afraid anymore - in fact they never want to be afraid of anything ever again - and take action so drastic they fail to realise that this too is a decision motivated by fear. or to account for the Consequences of that.
[with obvious perverted intent] hey. don't you want to release the safety catches on that character. don't you want to flip off all the switches holding them back and let the control rods go.

a lot of people agree "don't automatically trust a man who says all his exes are crazy" but there is another red flag I was reminded of today:
SOOOOO many abusive men (and women!) falsely accuse their partner of cheating and I wish more people knew this. I remember watching a video on a man who killed his gf and all the comments were saying she cheated--not that it excuses the murder--but it turns out he fucking lied about that anyway. start thinking critically instead of not believing victims because you projected your own relationship issues on what could be a complete lie. oh, and people who make false accusations of cheating are also often the one cheating, lmao
no seriously like people are more upset by cheating in relationships than shit like sexual assault and domestic violence it's insane
its good to acknoweldge the hollowness of revenge but sometimes you really do just need a story about someone who gets hurt and then kills and kills and kills and kills their enemies. its cathartic, babey.
"there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's no point in killing you" and "there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's nothing that can save you" are two themes that can and should co-exist
"nothing will ever undo what you did to me, so killing you solves nothing" and "nothing will ever undo what you did to me, but at least i can make sure you won't do it to anyone else" are also themes that can and should co-exist

@its-jooby You really need to stop making your art motivational, you canāt keep inspiring me like this
As time goes on the idea of a "transtrender" gets funnier and funnier. At what point in time has there ever been a trend or clout to gain from being trans?
Gen z is getting into this new trend which involves losing all your friends and family and being effectively legal to rape and murder.
your cat was an honor to see in the window

Honestly, Tvyek is pretty miraculous. Itās permeable to water vapor but not to water, itās nearly impossible to tear, but can be easily cut. Itās cheap and made entirely without binding chemicals. In addition to being used for wristbands, itās used to wrap construction sites to keep out water during construction, for tear-resistant envelopes at Fed-Ex, coveralls for mechanics, and my wallet, actually.
Fun tip, though it looks like paper, Tyvek is plastic, and cannot be recycled with paper.
holy fuc
I didnāt even know it had a name
They make hazmat dust suits out of this stuff.
I canāt stop drawing mantises I fear
my singing voice is good for showers and mornings in the kitchen and drunken nights and lullabies for babies who need sleep and im okay with this
i think itās silly to be ashamed of your art because itās not in a museum and of your voice because itās not selling out stadiums. there will always be people who enjoy and appreciate what you can do.
Idk why but this hit me really hard and Iāve been staring at it for a couple minutes.
People who live on the American continent(s) but not in the United States, how would you feel about being called "American"?

#positive. we have to reclaim the demonym. and if people make assumptions that's on them.#if people from the Asian continent are Asian and people from the European continent are European it's really not that hard to understand#that people from the American continent/s are all American. I don't get why this is such a hard concept to grasp
there is no country in europe called the federated states of europe. there is no country in asia called the united kingdom of asia.
there is, however, a country called the united states of america.
so the comparison doesn't really work.
i have a lot else to say about this but basically i think it's dumb that we insist on calling everyone in the western hemisphere americans but nobody uses afroeurasia to describe the afroeurasian landmass. even though the darien gap is a lot more of a clearer divide than the ural mountains.
but whatever. it doesn't really matter either way lol. continents are made up and countries are made up and languages are all made up anyway.
If "it doesn't really matter either way" why the public callout lol? Your reasoning is stupid to me. I'm going to be very very clear about something and it's final
the fact that latinoamericans identify themselves as american should suffice as a reason. If we can't reclaim our own identity we have nothing.
Our land devastated. Our resources acquired for dirt cheap. Our democracy forever tainted and our resistance to their atrocious new world order genocided by the U.S. orchestrated dictatorships that took away the liberties of seven of our countries.
The united states has been nothing but disrespectful. They want our resources and they want our submission, and they deny us the common courtesy of the right to self determination.
The United States are nothing but an insult to American land and what it represents.
right sorry. I should have known I was trying to argue with a modern colonialist anyways.
"there's a country called the united states of america" IT'S NOT OUR FAULT YOU IDIOTS FORGOT TO NAME YOUR FUCKING COUNTRY
and that's still a stupid argument in the first place because you know what else has "America" in the name? The fucking CONTINENT. So yeah, we're all americans, stop whining about it
The fact that Usians have appropriated a term that has always been used by us, non-Usians, is an imperialist act. When we identify as āAmericans,ā we do so in a continental, solidarity-based sense, and in defiance of colonial empires. Since the early 20th century, when the United States began to emerge as a global power, that term has unfortunately come to be associated exclusively with them. We are Americans; America is our continent; here we shed our blood. Why must we continue to tolerate a nameless country appropriating a collective demonym?
