College Bag Shopping

So as August is ending, many of us on Tumblr will be starting college soon. For those that live in the UK they know what I’m on about, for those outside then college is like the last two years of high school just more intense in the sense of pathways to careers. 

Anyway, September is two weeks away and if you haven’t already you’re looking to buy a college bag. I have bought mine around a week ago and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be! So how did I manage to buy a bag in the space of an hour of going into town? 

- Before I went out shopping for a bag I made a list of all the necessities that I will be carrying with me everyday. That included a case with all of my stationary, a small lunch, my wallet, four folders, notebooks, a calendar and of course my personal stuff like tissues, make up etc. This helped me understand what size bag I needed.

- I had a look online at different stores that I could visit and see what kind of bags they had there. I knew then not to waste time going to stores that did not have the sort of bag that I needed. 

Although I didn’t do this, a good idea of the design of the bag that you want would be a huge help too. Stores where in my opinion you could get a good, strong bag that is big in size and can hold everything in have to be Dorothy Perkins, Hollister, TK Maxx. My last year 11 bag lasted me a whole year which was pretty surprising for me as I hardly ever manage to go a full school year without having to buy a new bag.
