You can call me Spriteeditorsprite, or SES for short, and you can submit requests for homestuck sprite edits and panel edits here! Canon stuff only please, I won't be doing ocs (except for me, SES, because I'm awesome and run this blog, but even that'll be rare)

I've also got a little page if you wanna look at it!

Feel free to use my edits for anything! I only require that you credit me, anything along the lines of mentioning my username will do. Also I tend to upscale my posts x2, so if you want to use my sprites for anything in an actual panel, you may have to downscale them

What I will do

Sprite edits! They're my specialty I'd say

Panel edits! Just let me know the number of the panel you want edited

Minor animations. Animations with just a few frames/short loops

Headcanons, outfit changes, species swaps, etc

If somethings not here, but its not offlimits, its probably fine, if not, it'll be added there

DNI/OFFLIMITS/BEFORE YOU REQUEST

Canon sprites/sprites ive already made take priority over custom designs!

I won't do proship stuff. Aka incest/pedophilia/anything illegal like that. If you're okay with these topics, please don't interact with this blog as I like to look at who engages with my posts

I also won't do anything NSFW. Nothing actively against it, but I want to keep this blog SFW

If you're too vague with your request, especially to the point where I'm confused, I probably wont do it, sorry! This also includes requests like '[Character/ship] doing something/hanging out/being cute etc,' sometimes I'll do these, but I usually can't think of things for these prompts!

I won't sprite Cronus. I just actively Do Not Like him, so I won't be doing any edits with him, and this includes edits of him being dead and such. If you're a Cronus fan, you're allowed to interact though

Feel free to ask me questions too! If I need to, I'll make an FAQ here. Maybe a strawpage with my info if it comes to it

one year anniversary of Spriteeditorsprite!!!!

it’s been one year since i started posting sprites to this account, so i thought a redesign was in order, as well as a fun custom panel. i’ve enjoyed my time here, though burnout does come for us all. hopefully another year of fun sprites is waiting for me!!!

another mid tutorial by yours truly tried to help someone in a server on how i make adult sprites hope literally anything makes sense lol here's the calliope png i always use for scaling [ripped from HSBC] look at them, they're so polite :D

very good post!! i would also like to add my own observations about hsbc sprites that ive noticed and use in my sprites, also using calliope as my muse.

another thing to add is that the center on the head and body are different, so the middle of the head usually shouldnt line up with a characters symbol for example, though this rule can be broken occasionally when sprites have straighter posture.

the colour mauve is named after malva flowers, so i tried adding some of them to this design

Does "canon-only" also mean "no epilogues/dubiously canon/beyond canon stuff", or only that we should stick to sprites that are canon to that content?

Oh go crazy with the epilogues and beyond canon requests!! I quite enjoy the spritework the hsbc team does, and I’ve already done a few edits using sprites or characters apart of postcanon content already

By ‘canon-only’, I mean works relating to or connected to homestuck, so hiveswap, pesterquest, beyond canon, and other hussie works like problem sleuth and psycholonials

This rule mainly exists to deter people from submitting ocs, unless I have free sprites open
