Back in the old days you'd kill a boss and you'd get an AOL message and it'd be like:

Angry Shadow Dad: How DARE you kill [Flying Buttfucker 9000]! There will be consequences for what you've done! God please help my wife give birth.

Now you kill a boss and it's like

Jovial Frost Father: That was someone's baby. That was my little girl. She had DREAMS. Here's her macaroni picture she made for us when she was eight. Fuck you. Do you feel like a hero now? God please help me fix my marriage.

It's come a long way.

one thing about pathologic is that you only ever meet the characters while theyre havingg the worst two weeks of their lives. i need like. a beach episode or something to get a feel for how they are when not under more physical and mental duress than theyve ever been or will be again.

I think if a group of dwarves sing it can bring a horde (which isn't bad if you're wanting to farm stuff from it). If my two other friends got the game, we could try it, lol.

Hey my buddy Teddy of Teddy Hold On (one of my favorite bands) did the soundtrack for this game, Lord Of the Rings: Return to Moria! It’s great music, and you can get both the game and the soundtrack on hella sale right now on Steam! I don’t know a ton about video games but I know music and I’m hyped as all hell to see a friend making stuff for a LotR property

I've heard a little bit of it and I especially love the dwarves singing about ale or while mining. Definitely some good stuff there. I'll have to listen more to the soundtrack later (I bought the collector's edition because I'd heard the soundtrack was good).

I have no idea how it ended up this way, but I've played 1 (the OG Xbox), 2 (PS3 and PC), and 4 (PC). I've never played 3. I'll have to fix that after I finish Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 (or get frustrated with it).

Dog decided to come up here and I treated her like a celebrity, fawning over her (that's the right word, right? fawning? Kinda brain dead this morning). I think she likes it, lol.

Not much going on. Not been feeling well, so had been avoiding games until I decided to play Just Cause 2 (the GOG version that works, not the broken Steam one). I have it set up for easy access to the island with the rocket launcher and ammo on it. Sadly achievements aren't unlocking, so I put in a support ticket to see if they knew why they weren't unlocking (at least two failed to unlock for me). I mean, I can live without them; would just be nice if they unlocked, lol (makes it a little easier to remember what I was doing, but I guess it doesn't really matter considering how brainless this game is).

Anyway, I think I'm gonna go look at the JC tag and see what shows up!

Got irritated with a hunt I was on and fired off an SOS flare. No one carted and we eventually beat the monster. No idea if those were real people or NPCs, since you can get NPCs if you don't get any real people.

I don't know if the full game will differ, but in the beta, they force you into player lobbies. Hopefully just a beta thing because I don't always like playing around others.
