I took out my GameCube and original Animal Crossing game for the first time in at least 10 years. I really wanted to see the notes for my town tune so I could put into my New Horizons game since that one is very much inspired my original town.

I was really worried that I'd open the game and get a bunch of mail saying that everyone had moved away since the last time. And then Zoe popped up and made me smile. I love this game, even with all its limits and mean characters. So many good memories of playing all those years.

Never thought I'd be face to face with the guy who yelled at me as a kid. He's lucky this is a café and not a bar, or he'd be on the floor by now.

I started DuoLingo, and the owl is every bit as aggressive and threatening as people say. Less than 1 week in, and it's already telling me to watch out.

My cats reached a new level of spoiled; they now demand to smell my vial of gallstone pills to make sure I'm not sneaking their treats.

They get dry food 3 times a day as well as wet food, whipped cream, hard treats, and small pieces of chicken and beef weekly, but still act like they never get anything. But god forbid I need to take medication 3 times a day.

I had my first roll of Smarties candy for the first time in 20+ years. It still tastes exactly like medicine flavored chalk.

I got to consult with a local restaurant about adding veggie burgers to their menu. I never thought I'd be regarded as a local expert in this community, but I'm glad to be of service.

So I was reminded of this incident here recently, it's called the time I was gaslighted by my own cat.

One of my friends was a Panera manager and would usually bring us leftover treats that they would otherwise throw out. One day, he gave me a blueberry bagel in a paper bag.

I set the bag on the counter to eat the next day, and come the morning, it had disappeared. I tore open cabinets, the refrigerator, and pretty much the entire kitchen trying to find that bagel with no luck. After a good 30 minutes of searching, I started thinking that I'd either eaten it and didn't remember, or I'd never actually had a blueberry bagel in the first place and resigned myself to not being responsible enough for bagels.

A few weeks went by, and Cameron came to visit. He was looking for an outlet to charge his phone, and asked me why I had a paper bag with a moldy bagel inside. Lima had stolen it off the counter, taken it upstairs, hidden it behind my waterbed, and then decided she didn't want it.

I went several weeks thinking I had imagined a bagel only to find out I was gaslighted by an 8 pound Hemingway cat.

We finally had our big day yesterday! After almost 2 years of being engaged, we tied the knot. It was a beautiful ceremony; my younger brother was the officiate, my older brother and 2 of my friends stood with me as my bridesmen, one of my friends from college did my hair and makeup, and so many friends and family members came to see us. I got to meet some of my in-laws from out of state for the first time and they welcomed me to the family.

Honestly it was nothing short of pure magic.

I got asked by my city to speak on adaptive massagr at the 1st annual disability expo, but I unfortunately couldn't as it falls on my wedding day. So I made them brochures to hand out.

I'm super proud of how these turned out and to be part of the community.

So I ordered Dominos last week when I didn't want to cook and it took longer to get here with how the side roads are. No biggie, I want the driver to be safe above all else. But Dominos gave me 60 free reward points on top of what I already had.

So a couple nights later, I ordered pizza again off a coupon and had no issues with the delivery, but they just automatically sent me more rewards points. I'm up to 170, 60 is considered top tier. What the hell am I supposed to do with this many points? I'm scared they'll send more if I order again.

So, I found out last month that I have a lot of gallstones. I've been having gallbladder attacks for the last year and didn't actually realize what they were until they got worse.

Yesterday I had one last for hours and threw up so hard that it actually broke blood vessels in my face and had to have my supervisor put concealer over it so that I didn't look like I had some kind of disease. This shit sucks.

I had some free time, so I made some donation turbans for work. I know a lot of people say they feel less femine with hair loss, so I tried to use more girly fabric. I hope they help someone feel warm and stylish.

What a weird 10 years it's been. I was very cringe and hope I've fixed that. I've only ever changed my avatar twice. I do really miss 2 people from here and hope they're doing okay out there, wherever they are. So many memories of my precious piggies on here, I'm glad I was able to save them.

I was just a struggling substitute 10 years ago. I wonder what I'll think in the next 10 years? Cheers until then. Peace, m'kay?

My sweet Ravioli passed away today, and it's hit hard. For the first time in 11 years, the house doesn't have piggies in it. I took down the cage and the living room just feels vacant. The crisper drawer has a new head of lettuce in it and nothing to eat it. It's so hard.
