I’ve completed the main cross stitch 😍

Now onto the backstitch! To make this bad boy pop 😍

Now, there is french knots to be done in the crown, but I’m thinking of changing that up with small white beads… what do you guys think? 🤔

Forgot to mention, I dyed the Aida myself using Dylon Vintage Blue 🥰

I really hope my Dad likes it! I might even add his name and army number at the bottom 🤔 thoughts?

Started my new project on the 07.08.21 for my Dads Birthday in October 💛

My Dad served in the REME in the British Army 🇬🇧 *proud Daughter moment 🥰*

Started to settle nicely in our new home, so I pulled out my cross stitch stuff and got to work 💛

I’m absolutely loving this pattern from CrossStitchingLovers on Etsy 😍

It’s pretty much the same style we used on our Save the Dates for our original wedding date 04.07.20, which then got postponed to 17.07.21 and that date has been postponed to 02.07.22 😅 3rd times lucky, right?! 🍀😂

Had a few months of no stitching due to the stress of our wedding (that’s postponed for the 2nd time) and purchasing our first home 😅💛

Sorry for the disappearing act! Had a lot of going, recently brought our first home which is undergoing maintenance and our 2nd Wedding date has been postponed till next year, 3rd time lucky right?! 🍀😅😅 fun and games over here! 😂
