Like, at least Taiju and Kisaki could actually direct people.

for a moment you feel a tinge of guilt. this whole time you’ve been carrying this jealousy for a dead girl? a part of you thinks you should feel ashamed but then you realize no. you have the right to know what’s going through koko’s head. so when you speak again you don’t hesitate.
“do you still love her?”.
the thought of lying to you crosses koko’s mind. it would save you from heartache surely but at the same time… he knows he can’t bring himself to say he doesn’t love akane. he could never disrespect her like that. instead he regrettably decides to be honest.

it hurts. it hurts so bad but simultaneously hearing that makes so much sense. in the back of your mind you always sensed that koko’s love for you didn’t equate to the love you had for him. you had this feeling that he wasn’t satisfied, that he wanted something more. before you believed you needed to just love him more but obviously that would never be enough because you could never be her.
