I just haven't been feeling well, ok? It's one thing to never act but it's another when things fall apart. No one can find the pieces because they're scrambled inside. Hidden away like some prized possession undesired by others.

You’ve stumbled across another excellent episode of Tape Talk. Ghostboy and Skye sit huddled in the studio and Dale raps at the door to give his two cents. Suddenly, the boys start reviewing “Knight Chills” from 2001 and then discuss their favorite foreign films. What do you do? Listen and enjoy yourself? You won’t even have to roll for it. Proceed…

sometimes i feel like i want to be in a relationship, then i realize how annoying they are, because its so much chiller being alone.
like one time when i was with my ex girlfriend, she made me get a haircut. and i was like, “i dont want a haircut, but somehow you’re making me get a haircut, i dont get it, what is this, like is this even america right now?”
thats not the reason its cool being alone, its just like one example, i like doing whatever i want whenever i want. there are some relationships that can be chill, where you can find someone that is compatible, but even that is annoying, like you’d have to date like 100 people to find that one person. and thats just so annoying.
i have my plan all mapped out, like im going to move somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, I’m going to write, I’m going to make movies, and I’m going to stay in shape and wear like casual non descript clothing, just plain shirts/sweaters and casual pants, and im going to wear big black horn rimmed glasses, and I’ll be really interesting at parties, and I’ll have a lot of friends and all my female friends will always try to introduce me to girls and be like “90s why are you single? You should meet my friend, I think you’d like each other.” and I’ll be all “No thanks, I’m chill just being single.” then she’ll try to hook us up anyway and she’ll want me really bad and I’ll have to leave the Pacific Northwest, because everyone is so weirded out by me just being a hella cool guy that wants to be single, and I’ll be like “I thought the Pacific Northwest would be a chill place to just chill and write and make movies and wear flannel, but everyone is always trying to date me, so I’m moving to Maine.” and in Maine everyone will be totally chill and I’ll write a great american novel, and all the people in the Pacific Northwest that knew me will make up stories about how they think I don’t have a penis and thats why I never dated.

I just can’t get it out of my head of how unappealing I am. I could probably change any of my physical qualities in time, and I’m working on it a bit, but I feel like I got the bad genes or something. Maybe it’s my personality. I’m just too shy to talk to attractive people out of fear of rejection or not being taken seriously. I don’t actively look for love either but I don’t know where I’d start. I’m not the bar-type, nor the clubbin’ bro, so I’m just stuck in some weird limbo.
I distract myself as much as I can but it really sucks being alone as often as I am.
Let’s kick shell! This week we review Ninja Turtles: Next Mutation “East Meets West” from 1997 and tell some weird stories! Scott’s got some great ones and Skye’s are…. not so great. Please rate/sub on podcast services and email us feedback/responses/topic suggestions at [email protected] Love you!

NICK ANIMATION PODCAST
EPISODE #8: JIM JINKINS
If it happened to Doug Funnie in a cartoon, there’s a good chance that it happened to Doug creator Jim Jinkins in real life. Hector discovers that from a crush on a girl named Patty to the torment of a bully named Roger to the superhero fantasies of Quail Man, no cartoon in Nick history is drawn more from the life of its creator than Doug.
