A little look at some of what I'll be using in 2026 💫
📙 Brown leather wrap sketchbook for travel sketches - I enjoy making sketches on day trips or roadtrips, mostly with plain ink, and I wanted a dedicated place for those. This sketchbook will probably last more than a year, but that's okay!
📖 Grey Artist's Loft Dot Grid notebook is the one I started a few months ago - I think I shared it on YouTube then? - and I use that for collecting random (not too personal) thoughts about my art, reading, things I want to make, etc. I like making it cute and doodling but still have it be functional,so I don't worry too much about how it looks, and just if something will be practical for me. It has random scraps of paper and washi tape added, supply swatches, and more.
🪻 A new notebook for sermon notes - which I think will be a bit more "fancy" again this year, since they've been pretty plain the last few years and I'm starting to feel the urge to be more decorative. I was debating waiting until the series we are currently doing is finished, but I'm not sure if my current notebook has enough space left (and I really like this notebook) so I decided to just go ahead and start it for the new year.
Over the next week, I will be back and sharing posts here again, life has been a bit busy lately (which I'll tell you more about soon) so I haven't really had the time or energy for art as much lately, but I have some things planned for the new year that I am excited about and can't wait to share with you guys!
Following on other platforms is the easiest way to be sure you see all my posts, as it often forget to cross post across all the different platforms.
