Fairy pigeons?
edit: for those concerned about the colorful birds, I was able to find this:
They are dyed and fed a special diet. These are pigeons located in Pearl City Hawaii and the Humane society has certified that they are treated humanely and are not in any danger from the process that changes their coloring. Their keeper (Doug Beter) has been recognized by the humane society for his best practices and his care for the birds.

You want to help pigeons?
But you can’t take home animals and you don’t have money? Now is your chance! Two pigeon rescues are collecting votes at the moment, where all you have to do is click!
1. Pigeon Rescue Frankfurt, Germany
I have reblogged pictures from the Pigeon Rescue Frankfurt before, asking for donations if possible, as they always are tight on money because there are so many hurt pigeons in the cities (click here to see their homepage). A German Bank is offering 2000 Euro to the first 30 groups/rescues in a specific donation event and they’re part of it as well, as they try to get the money in help to build a new, really needed infirmary. You win by collecting votes, so click on this link here and on the right side you can click ‘abstimmen’ (voting). You have to enter an email and then verify it by clicking on the link you’ll receive. Only once you verify your vote is counted. I know it’s a little annoying, but the chances they’ll get the money is really high! Right now they’re on space 23, but they’re falling behind. You can vote once every day (you have to verify it every time though) until November 9th, but just voting once helps too! Don’t worry, you wont receive spam, this is a reputable German Bank and no shady online business!
2. Palomacy Pigeon Rescue, USA
Second one is Palomacy, also collecting votes for their pigeon rescue. This time it’s for a lot more, 50′000$. They also have a chance to win as long as they’re under the first 30 (doesn’t matter what space). Chances to win are obviously a little lower, but it’s super easy to vote at least: Just click on vote here and it’s done. You can do this once a day until January. They need about 100 votes a day to stay competitive, so every click counts.
